This may sound dumb but I’m trying to figure out what size fuse I need for multiple amps. With that said I have the jd400 going to my 4 kicker 75 watt 2 way door speakers. What should I consider the max output to be setup this way?
There is a way to calculate the minimum for the power wire's main fuse that is installed near the battery. You add the total fuse rating for each amp. The JL Audio JD400/4 amp is rated for up to 40A and so that's the number we use for it.
Great sub choice! The JL Audio JD500/1 will work here: www.crutchfield.com/I-rYALc921/p_13698362/item.html The JL Audio HD750/1 is the perfect match here: www.crutchfield.com/I-rYALc921/p_136HD7501/item.html
Have one Jd1000 powering my 12w7ae. Very nice amp and also small footprint which made installation much easier :)
JL is a BEAST as always.
I have the JD 400.4 clean sounding amp
Very nice! What are you powering with it?

Im torn. WOuld the 500/1 be best for the CP212-W0v3 or the 1000/1?
The box is rated for 150-600 watts RMS, so the JL Audio JD500/1 matches it better.
Which one of the JD sub amp will run a 10w7

Will the JD1000/1 be to much power for 10w7ae
The HD750/1 is a better match here: www.crutchfield.com/I-rYALc921/p_136HD7501/JL-Audio-HD-Series-HD750-1.html?tp=115
A pro installer told me worse thing you can do to a sub is under power it as long as it's tuned right and gains set properly it won't hurt the sub
