This man is a gem
I love arps all day everyday!!
Arp arp arp yeah!
Perfect vid. Sweet, short and no random bull. Also you look a bit like Chris pontius. Just don't start romping around in your birthday suit with some bunny wars on.
thanks dan
I saw this short but useful tutorial while searching a way on how to port VST instruments sounds like Halion Sonic on a real keyboard for live playing. If you could throw your 2 cents with some advices would be great.
This was brilliant, short and sweet straight to the point, you could maybe have added some more examples, but just as theory itself this was terrific.
You is a baaad mo-foe bro! Im lookin at my keyboard/synth like, what the Funk are all these goofy names 'n buttons?.. You explained it perfectly and i appriciate that tip about the chords there at the end to! Thank you bro!
I like using 'swing' function with arps (when available) to give a little human feel sometimes. =]
Nice one Dan, thanks again.
Ooh yeah! Gotta play around with swing!
found my way here because i was watching tim henson from ployphia explaining how he came up with all of his different and unexpected solo progressions by memorizing the notations of an arpeggiator
Best explanation I saw
Dayum. Really clear video!
Thanks for making this so simple!
Thanks Dan. I really appreciate your videos.
:) no worries at all! I’m really happy youve been enjoying them :)) hope
Your days going great! :)
I very like your short clips
Instant sub. Most awesome content. Thanks so much.
Amazing
Very informative. I just bought the Arturia Minibrute and I'm trying to get my head around the arpegiator. Any help appreciated thanks.
Good video man. This helped me alot.
You need to start making more video ur channel may get famous the way u explain is top noch
Awesome vid
excellent
Thank you. Very well explained...
Nice explanation. I've been analyzing a lot of great songs that use arpeggiators lately like Floyd "On the Run" and Who "Baba O'reilley". What a great invention the arpeggiators was, and cool to hear what ideas creative people come up with using them. So wanted to know if you can figure out what keyboard the Sea and Cake are using for this arpeggiator on this song- ruclips.net/video/EgO_nn8MD2w/видео.html; I'm guessing some really expensive analog syth. I'm trying to see if I can find a good price on a used Roland or Korg analog syth to play around with. Edit: I just saw your video on the Novation Base station - that looks like what I might get.
I just learned about these. Another song is Hungry Like the Wolf. Search YT for Hungry Like the Wolf vocal synth for an awesome dual track. I never noticed that sound so much in the full song.
Please recommend me songs like On the Run
I think this what I’m looking for but I’m not sure can you help me please!
Wass up Dan 🤜🤛 I have one Major important question do I need to buy a Midi Controller that has a Built-in Apeggiator? I ask because I had just brought a Brand New Akai MPD26 drum pad machine for $95.00 with free shipping & I'm thinking about buying the $200 M-Audio Keystation 61Re Controller cause it has the better heavier keys and it has USB and the 5pin Midi Out just like my Akai MPD26 drum pad, but it doesn't have a built in Apeggiator & not only that Dan in case I find a nice used Roland JV-1080 Sound Module I'm gonna want to get it, cause I do R&B & Hip-hop & the Roland VST, sound quality is 🗑️ Trash !!!! Compared to the actual sound coming out the actual external hardware of the JV 1080 plus I have not seen no video on those JV80 expansion boards in wave files or anyone selling them in wave files either.
hey naw that shouldn't be a worry at all. most daws have an arpeggiator built in so it can do it for you :)
@@danfur7994 Thanks Dan I be wasn't sure but I had got the M-Audio Keystation 61 Midi controller 3 days ago for $125.00 with free shipping and it was a open box and it was like Brand new & it came with a USB cable owner's manual & the code for the free Protool's light and Abelton live light, but I will probably start of using Garage Band or Mpc Beats since it's free then I will upgrade to the PreSonus studio One Professional.
I do have one more question what's the difference between the retail $400 store version and the online crack version?
Lets just Call it the "Trance Button" 😅
Also know as an ARP ahahahahahahahahahahahahashahahahahaha Somebody please sample and LOOP that!
Haha we can make it happen 😂
Great, but you didnt answer what an arpeggiator is...
For some reason I thought you only needed to press one key I’m an idiot
I don't believe in using arps. I can't be proud of a pattern that I didn't type in note by note.
Yea I’m sure you’re a great artist because of your brave choice
