'Architecture on Canvas' is a series by Stonelam, in association with #Buildofy
The client and his family are a stronghold of 3 brothers and all their families living together in the dense urbanity of Hyderabad. This dwelling is for several families with individuality to be accommodated inside one single building and to be a reflection of their lives, to be led in the rides and tides of life.
With planes jutting, volumes projecting, lines piercing all seemed unnatural in this house with a built-up area of about 10,000 sq. ft. and only too natural in and possible in the context laid.
Ar. Chaitanya D K narrates the story of the Glacier House, an example of an architecture of fluidity frozen in space.

There is actually a bunch of houses in Sainikpuri, Hyderabad.. Not sure who the builders are. Buildofy covers the extremely rich in Jubilee and Banjara Hills. Sainikpuri is coming to be noticed. May be worth exploring the area.

I've watched alot of videos from this channel, never heard an architect speak about a project with such depth and feel.
he is a person who knows what architecture really is, clarity of thought is just phenomenal. he knows what he speaks, not like other architects who just spit out the crap and justify themselves as designers.

This house is not ment for Tolichowki, it should be in adjoining Jublie/Banjara hills or in Kondapur area. I remember watching Graveyard Mahaprasthanam designed by same architect. He is a genious.

People do not understand the location and think that a house like this one should exist in some lustrous location next to quite frankly horrible looking mansions. @ except I never talked about the inside of it, and my vision of why is pretty clear. There is a lot of people in the comments area talking about how it isn't in some "better" gated community or wtv, the real appeal of this house is the shock factor you get when you find it, hidden in the middle of a otherwise normal area. With great and creative arquitecture, any location can go from bland or basic to amazing.
Lovely to see the conviction shown by the brothers in bringing a decades old declaration to life. Amazing work in making the most of the available space and literally creating a tucked-away paradise. Truly inspirational.
The way the architect speaks about the work, the house, shows how involved he and his team were and how proud they feel... Very beautifully built

I dont know why guys are unhappy with the location...infact its a masterpiece that could change the society later ...maybe in coming years neighbours will appoint same architect to change the dimensions of the society and thought of people living there... This project obviously would hv been best in other locations but it is necessary to introduce the change in community and make people think over it .... Extremely superb work... I follow a lot of architecture channels for inspiration on building a house when we return back to india. This has been one of the best I have seen so far. To a lot of nay sayers on the location. It’s not always about ROI. It’s about building a house where you feel like it’s home. Architect has done an amazing job.
whats inspiring is the art as much as the architects satisfaction n pride in his work ..like a new born baby....i loved his face n the way they told that resting space and living spaces are to in 20-80 ratio ....superb !!!

All the arguments about locality/location, are answered in the narration by the architect.
No one’s opinions matter…it is what this family chose for themselves. Choosing to carve a sanctuary in an unexpected place and way. If you are unable to appreciate that, you might as well hold your opinions. After all, what comes out of your mouth reflects who you are….

Unique & most beautiful house in whole Hyderabad if not in both Ts & AP & those who comments about that location one should remember & learn from him, he & his family loves his area his motherland & his childhood streets. His dream to built in that location bcoz of his personal bond with that area & he knows their are other prime locations but their he doesn't get love, affection & people where he lived in his childhood streets everyone must appreciate & learn from him instead of giving advice & comments..

Very sophisticated design..as a person with OCD I had trouble watching the dimensions of the exterior 😀 but I absolutely love everything else about the house especially the idea of courtyard and the perfect fusion of nature and modern look 🔥

The house is completely surrounded by high rise buildings. It does not stand out at all.
0:38 Its neck to neck with the other houses, maybe not even 3 foot of space.
This is why choosing a suitable location should be the primary requirement.
