I raced in late 80’s and I’m just now looking to get back into it. This car looks overly complicated and in the event of a crash there’s way too many parts that can break.

I think you could have used a flashlight to show the workings of the spring and damper.

I've crashed mine multiple times and the only thing that broke so far was the body.
so its basically an over complicated leaf spring
Pop the rod on the arm.
Lift the A- Arm
Slide the damper out.
30 seconds!
All in all good video
