    Just discovered this video, looking for help on Cobalt IPs and the Z21. I restarted my old model railroading hobby after a brief 40+ years interlude while dealing with inconveniences like a job, family, moving internationally several times etc.... The world of DCC did not exist in my youth, and while it's amazing, help is much appreciated! Love your calm and thorough explanations, and of course I promptly subscribed! Now on to checking all your other videos 🙂

    Aw thanks Eric for an amazingly helpful video. I’m currently building a TT 120 layout. I’ve almost finished the baseboard and because I want the option of full automation I’m looking at Itrain with the Z21. I’ve been looking at the cobalt motors recently and your video with info on the Z21 has been a tremendous help. Thanks so much
    just one thing Eric those cobalts seem to be a little bit noisy. I don’t know if they are in real life. Cheers mate keep up the good work Steve

    Absolutely fantastic customer service from AGR, how to keep your customers coming back time after time. DCC Concepts are also very good at customer service, even design help. Maybe some National Service Companies can learn from this kind of customer care. Brilliant clear explanations, so good I have subscribed for future videos.

    Last night I spent watching your videos . You are calm and straight forward , so you have my subscription with a black bell.
    I have only one question , where do Cobalts IP get their power from ? My friend maintains that they should not get power from the main line to which the rails are connected . Please resolve . Best of luck and a happy new year ,Leo .

    • @UndergroundEric
      @UndergroundEric  2 года назад

      Hey Leo, thanks and happy new year to you also.
      Yes the cobalts do unfortunately take their power straight from the DCC supply/bus which is a slight downside to them rather than a separate supply, however i believe they only draw a very low current so dont tend to cause issues, as far as im aware anyhow!
      Cheers, eric
