Even on a rooted train there is no equal to counter the sharp impact of a root on one wheel or both. Love my 20” Wild One.

How much travel in the front suspension?

    • @gomountaintriking8460
      @gomountaintriking8460  4 месяца назад

The maximum shock size that can be installed is 165mm. A 165mm shock is designed to be installed.
The travel of a 165mm shock is 35mm.
sorry for late reply 😅 😘

I know it has suspension but can it tilt, too???

    • @gomountaintriking8460
      @gomountaintriking8460  Год назад

The Wild One model does not have a tilting function.
However, as the spring contracts, it momentarily tilts by about 5 degrees. 😁

Looks like a real good off roading trike.😀

      Off-road, high-speed driving, sharp cornering
      will be the strongest
It feels like a buggy car, it's really good
There is one drawback. This design method has a heavy handle.
Even specbike comfort models like Wild One have heavy handles.😄

@@gomountaintriking8460 Very interesting observation. I know Steintrikes said steel was preferred because of it's ability to be welded for repairs in a small town on a cross country trip, and aluminum would leave you stranded. 😀

      @@happytriking right
I also think that off-road models like Wild One are better made of steel. The coil shocks absorbs shock well, but when it exceeds the limit of shock absorption, the shock is transmitted to the frame, which would be a big shock.
Aluminum cannot absorb shock and breaks when subjected to impact. hahaha
However, the steel bends slightly to absorb the impact and then recovers again.
It doesn't break like aluminum, it dents.
      It's safe hahaha

@@happytriking Most trikes become very unstable when equipped with a Velotop. Rolling over is easy when cornering.
However, the Wild One has relatively stable cornering even with a velo top.
Because the coil spring shock absorbs the centrifugal force when cornering.
      So it corners stably.
If attach a velotop to the scorpion fs, it will easily roll over when cornering.
velotop weight + wind resistance is converted to weight. Then the center of gravity increases

@@happytriking There is one thing to note
I rode the Wild One 20 inch model.
I recommend the 26,700c model over the rear 20-inch model.
The 20-inch model leans forward when braking sharply and the rear wheel is easily lifted.
So I'm going to buy the 700c model this time

So weird why have rims on with no tire???
    This is a $6000 bike....

      Tires will be included
I understand that the basic tire is Schwalbe Marathon.
But I liked it better without the basic tires.
Because I like Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires...
And I like Schwalbe Durano Plus tires.
      Because not get punk ^^😁😁
