This seems to be an interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!

“Just jungle” you say, we need more natural areas in our world to keep more plant species and animal life. Jungles are full of life. Could not see the crocodile. I read recently that a ship pays the canal approx US$140.00 per berth for the transit. This is why the port charges are high on a Panama cruise.

    Great video
Would you recommend the old or new locks?
Our Panama Canal cruise got cancelled due to covid in 2020😢
Hopefully, we can book it again next year.
I learn so much from your videos.

We haven’t been through the old locks, but think they would be more interesting. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

Great video!!! I am sailing on Caribe deck in balcony in Feb for a coast to coast. If you had to choose what lock would you watch from your balcony and what one would you do from the decks. I will be leaving from Fl and have a starboard balcony.

The new locks, which you will be sailing through, are pretty much the same. The view from the Bridge deck, and the other decks, is different than from your balcony. The decks are much less crowded towards the end of the journey although it may be dark. We went between our cabin and the bridge deck and the rear decks periodically throughout the day. We set up a camera on our balcony railing and made a time lapse video of the entire transit. You should check it out if you haven’t: ruclips.net/video/HPRkXTS1VJA/видео.html Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

The title says "What to do on your day in port". Did I miss something during the 42 minutes of transit of the canal?

It’s just a playlist we use on our channel. We probably should’ve put it in the ‘Life Aboard a Cruise Ship’ playlist. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

@@PortMonkeys we would be happy if you could share the video. We have always loved the balloon drop but unfortunately it was discontinued in September 2019 for environmental reasons. best regards
