Really beautiful job you did. They remind me of my Rockers I restored. I think it's worth the cost to have a vintage sound.

Thank you, I really dig the kit as well. I just wanted to make sure people understand what it really costs to take a project like that on

It's good that you saved those shells. You would surely get a good chunk of your investment back out of it if you do decide to sell in the future, but you got a really nice kit anyway.

Thanks, I want to add a 20x14 and a 14x14 floor tom. My vision is to have a shell bank so that i can pick and choose any combination for specific gigs

Jose, I am a subscriber, and I think your videos are great. What amazed me about this, is the cost you've put in, and the dedication. I never added $ up as you went along, I thought you said you would tell us at the end. I would love to know that number. I don't have the deep enough pockets to do what you did, and although yours are valuable vintage Ludwig shells, I refurbished a '88 Rockers set, but it was 100% complete, including all original mint condition heads, of which I am saving. Running mixed used heads on them right now, but they have become my favorite drums for taking out gigging. When I bought them ( complete set with no seat, cymbals, or cases, or stands), the owner wanted $250 for them! I was shocked when he told me I was the 3rd person to see them, and the first 2 wouldn't go over $200. I gladly gave him the money, and because they were so complete, my total investment including the new wrap totals $415. I cannot send a photo, but I have photos I could email if someone wanted to see them. I have posted them often on Ludwig Drum Collectors on FBook. Thank you for such a great video!

Hey brother, thanks again for the comments. To answer your first question, the total spent is at minute 11:07.
I dig the rocker kits, they’re continuously looked over but i’m pretty sure that people will eventually come around to them. There’s no better feeling than taking something and bringing it back to life. What facebook page did you post it on. I’d love to check them out. What sizes are they and what kind of wrap did you out on? Anyhow brother stay in touch
