How can you guys say that this is a new episode when it isn't. If this was a newer episode then the old man wouldn't be in it because he DIED a year or two ago.
That was a very low ball offer (pun not intended). If he sold each pin for about 50 bucks each, he’d have about 3,500 for the whole thing (he said about 70 pins). Now include that some are more valuable than others. I can totally see it going for around 7,500.
“I bought these from a friend that needed some money” more like “I saw the opportunity to rip off a guy who wrongly considered me a friend and made a dime off his back in a time of need”
So 3 of the pins are valued at $850 and the other 63 add up to $1600? Then let's them all go for $1500? Rick and the old man downplayed the rarity and value of that collection big time.He got hustled.. lol
The expert values 3 pins at $850 and then values the entire collection at $2500 which means he values all the other pins at around $29 each . Rick then pays $1500 for all of them so if you take off the known value for the 3 pins you are left with Rick paying $11.40c for each of the remaining pins. You have to feel sorry for anyone who is on the end of a deal this poor.
so he told rick he paid 1500$ but told the camera man he got 50% more then he paid basically so he paid 750$ for the lot and got double what he paid. i believe if im correct.
