He seems to have seen his friends become corrupt. The comrades try to calm him down, and when everything seems to be relatively good, the door is knocked out by a glitch, or one of Mordecai's friends, such as Rigby(corrupted, of course). Mordecai does everything quickly. Opening the garage, he allows his comrades to escape. And he himself remained to defend himself to the last, taking...an axe, for example. We have seen the result. Something like this. He's a very good character...he was.
Personally, I liked Mordecai's old voice better, it was more organic, I feel like it is very mechanical, but I still like the song a lot. excellent job
