      ​@@gerarmdr It takes big balls to argue that Roland had none, considering that he died as a war hero and martyr who fought off an ambush to the bitter end while facing an outnumbering enemy in the Frankish rear guard. The guy is such a legend his song got translated into Scandinavian languages and entered foreign folklore.

      Not french it's Norwegian but because the both languages are indo European they may sound a little bit similar

      @@IkhguM Frankish was Germanic language same as Norwegian, but domination of Gallo-Romans romanised the Frankish language, so French isn't simillar to Norwegian too much nowadays
