I think this is the first time in their career they're actually acting. Like, with lines and blocking and stuff. Music videos don't count because they are usually shot without sync sound.

They're so irrelevant now. Lego Movie killed them. Which is no surprise. It sucks too.
+graytlo ...the Lego Movie "killed them"???? *Most* of the world who weren't already fans of their music didn't even know who they WERE until then. They did the Taylor things, but they went to the *Grammy's* after the Lego Movie, in one of the most talked about performances of the night??? Their "lack of relevance" since then was solely because they didn't have new music then. _Heartthrob_ had come out two years prior to that and this is their first album since then. That's a long time to go between albums. And they've made quite a resurgence already with just the promo to this one. I'd hardly call that irrelevant.
And even if they were LESS relevant now, after 17 years in this business and making albums, welp then they just go back to their fans of well over a decade and enjoy the burst of fame they had while it was there. ...taking some new fans with them. It'd hardly be a disappointment to two girls who continued to put out albums longer than some fans have been alive despite never having yet had mainstream success.

Dude, they’re not irrelevant. They’re doing great currently. They’ve released a book, and it’s a best-seller. The book is doing very well. Almost all positive reviews. So, I’d like to know how they aren’t relevant anymore?
