Loved those Wade Disney Hat Box figurines. The lady was correct, these are from the mid 1950s and are quite desirable especially with the boxes. Due to the popularity, Wade relicensed and produced a second series in the 1980s. They were the identical figures and came in plastic round boxes or rectangular paper boxes. I have been a dealer in Canada of Wade for the past 40 years. I have never seen the original "Hat Box" boxes. I would estimate the retail value to be between $40 and $80 each. They cater to both collectors of Wade and Disney. The 1980s series ones are a slow seller and are worth $10 to $15 each, with or without boxes. Love your channel.

My mom passed away almost 3 years ago and we’re selling her stuff at yard sales now. I know some of her stuff is old and probably worth some money. What app do you use or can you recommend to see what items are worth. Thank you Mr. Lopez
I use the ebay app and you need to look at sold items not just listed ones. I would suggest about 1/3 of ebay sold prices if you hope to sell them at a yard sale.

Very nice Wade figurines. Wade did a series of figurines for Red Rose tea in the 70s and 80s. A Fox & the Hound set of 4, with the boxes, sold in May 2022 for $100. Ironically, the seller marked them as from 'Lady" not 'Fox'.

I have those Disney Wade figures in the uk, they aren’t selling, I managed to sell 2 so far at £10 a piece so $75 is way overpriced I feel. If anything like the uk they have a slow selling rate
There are few a available in the us. Two of the figures have no listed comps and the boxes are worth more than the figures. All in all I’m pretty happy with it
The Disney figures are cool - but there was a $20.00 bill left on the table next to the case. I'm pretty sure you handed her $46.00 and left $20.00 on the table. I hope she found it!
Thing is and I sell Wade whimsies all the time, the boxes were likely worth as much if not more than the whimsies themselves. A garage sale is no place to command that kind of price though.
@@susanwehe8270there is no written rule thar says you have to give away your collectibles to resellers so they can resell it online and try to make a profit you don't like a price move on stoo complaining fact is a seller at a yard sale or flea market can ask for what ever they want fact is a collector can come along and be willing to pay what the seller wants same thing regarding online reselling just because one buyer is willing to pay $25 for an item another buyer may come along willing to $100 for same said item after 25 years of full time reselling I have learned to have patience and not jump at the first offer or unreasonable offers compared to what I'm asking for it btw some sellers at yard sales are also online resellers
