I honestly don’t understand how people are dissapointed about his animations. When I saw months ago he was on the 100th day anniversary on the roadmap, I was rather shocked since we haven’t really seen him fight and he wasn’t that hype of a character imo. But it makes sense now that he is free. And people need to realize the guy doesn’t fight anymore. He didn’t join the Jeju island raid because he is ‘RETIRED and OLD’. Do they actually expect a Go Gun Hee have flashy animations where he does backflips and tricks like Sportacus? He trained Woo Jin Chul as well, so the simple fist fighting animations makes sense. And they absolutely cannot give him flashy animations, since he is a canon character and he can’t deviate from the anime that is coming later. The game is ahead of the anime, many voiceactors for characters that are not in the anime are literally revealed in the game, like Baruka. Canon characters most likely won’t look nearly as great in the game as game original characters, because the devs have all the creative freedom in the world to make their animations as flashy as they want. Canon hunters will be somewhat limited in that aspect, with the exception of Sung Jin Woo.

Mirei’s character design has more effort on it than Gunhee’s animation. Would have been nice to see some respect for the old guy animation wise since he’s somewhat of an important character in the series. Instead we are getting waifu after another waifu which would have been fine if we can get the same level of dedication with the male characters, or even just the prominent ones.
You can’t blame people assuming he is mid with that kind of animation and how he was presented during the stream.
It’s the developers job to dedicate some respect on the series which their making money of and bring go gunhee in the game the way he was in the series.
I don't understand what you meant. Did you read the manhwa? Because, I'm being honest, "the way he was in the series" isn't much different than what they showcased. He barely was shown fighting but when he did he just was illuminated and punching. He is a brawler character, you can't do much on animation base

This is what I’m talking about. They did so much for seo, she has a very satisfying animations AND a fairly strong character despite her being not even a side character but an extra in the series. If they give some respect to gunhee and the series they would have done better

They were locked into how the creator made him.. and on power department we don't know yet, he can be very strong

@@BojackReacts it's not too far and other than that people are progressing very fast ingame and introducing new content in game is crucial to maintain healthy playerbase and if we see through manhwaa so it's pretty clear that devs are introducing new character in order in which they got introduced in the original manhwaa ,

nah, go has all weak breaks/medium. his kit was leaked, no almighty breaks. the insane breaker is lim, the bow guy. it's just stated as 'medium break' but it breaks 3 bars on weak element.

Another thing worth checking when he comes out is if he will have break (like Baek/Woo) or no break (like Seo) in his basic attack.
one thing for sure if your guess is correct: Baek will be out of a job
Here is a suggestion though programming wise it might be a nightmare: Make SM Baek a transformation of normal Baek something like Mirei, with two different gear loadouts in Hunter screen. This gives the player the opportunity to convert him to DPS mode when breaking is no longer required.
If people complain about animation i guess it's decent..like they want demon slayer style or wot ? 😂 I guess the fighting animation makes sence and according to manhwa .....maybe we will see his advanced form in future like sm baek where he will be more flashy and powerful in ruler form (though I don't think so) ....they might make ruler form cool just as audience demand and then. It won't be manhwa accurate
I like the Almighty system, In most cases (Specially competitive battles) Break are way too Important for me. The Fastest the Shield down, The less Time will it took.

Really tempted to get Mirei to A3. Currently at A2, but Hansemi would be good support for her. As for Go, I don’t care about the animations. All I care about is what he can really bring. His animations represent him as a fist fighter anyway. Which makes sense since he mentors Woo. But what I care about is the separate weapon banners so I can set my list.
A3 is a must so go for it

I don't really like him scaled based on both atk and defense because there is also a chance they'll just lower his damage percentage. It's a good stats nonetheless.
I think Go is very good. Although animation is Lackluster, but because of that, he is a very fast engager compared to most hunter that carries a staff or bare Fist
Just a little note adding to this - DMG inflicted does matter with how much break effective.
It would be wise to wait till 28th before pulling since go gunhee & se-mi banner will overlap so you'll be able to get point for their weapon crafting event

Animation preferences is individual flavor. For me, Go and a skill with Almighty Break should look like a badass skill, which I didn t see it on livestream. Baek may have long animations but he looks like a badass when he casts them.

They re upset for how he looks. If we were talking about a company who doesn t know how to make animations, it would have been a different story. But they re freaking on point even with Rare Weapon animations. While Go, a very important hero to the original IP looks like lower than mid animations.
Thing is F2P,Light spenders, Wallet warriors, can't afford pulling on 2 Banners. And We have 2 Heavy light breakers though hehe. And people might have them A5-A10. Just build Viridiscent on them and a break set and you will be getting the value of almost an almighty break. Without sacrificing pulling Han Se men, and wasting resources. (GOLD,Scrolls,Elixirs,Weapon) Anyhow he is free, so it doesn't really matter lol! Everyones getting a piece of that Light Almighty break!

Ppl judging wether he is good or not from his animations (i agree the animations were so @ss) but I think he’ll do alottttt of dmg and become a PERFECT unit for baran and other thick bosses with huge shields in the near future. Hell, he could be an even better breaker for Nips too
If Go deals massive dps its different story if he's focus on Break even it's almighty imma skip.
Reason is if he's done breaking the boss there's nothing to do anymore unless he deal massive dps or the enemy recovers break bar

Well, first we now have the answer to that teaser and he is not an almighty break unit, second through your own showcase we can clearly see the difference between Heavy and almighty break is not that big. So I think if he have two skills that deal heavy break he will still be the best breaker I hope they do him justice!!
We are given Go gunhee crafting material in the EVENT but we can't craft ...I mean there's not even an option to craft the weapon even though we have the crafting material and it's gonna expire
I think the 1st 2nd and 5th are true because idk why people don't focus on it but it says "go gunhee can't regen hp" which is pretty obvious and the other two seems viable about the units so thats my take on this.
M and because of all the breakers getting upgrades when you are able to advance them when he’s advanced to maybe a five, which free to play players will get there eventually let’s be honest he might break an entire bar instantly all the way
I feel like while go gunhee is a great character i feel the need to remind the few that breakers hold a role that is imporant but not as impactful as one may think while i agree almighty break is tempting support units are far better for f2p and have longer impact in games like these while tanks units tend to be replace by late game dmg spikes and meta changes while support tend to be useful regardless of meta changes and will hold longer then breakers while i do agree summoning for your favorite character is a players choice i also hope for people to understand once break meter are out of the screen breakers are no longer required to be swap into and buffs will always need to refreshed to keep up constant dmg and in this game specifically breaker break abilities do not change with skill lvls and are set on summon so the free go gunhee will break as fast as a a5 go gunhee please choose wisely and i hope you all have fun playing this game
I wouldn't necessarily say this is true. A lot of breakers bring more than just a break. Look at seo with shield, woo with shield and wind DMG up now, Baek with def down, Emma with buffs and debuffs. So a breaker can bring more and can break faster based on their advancements

While I wanted him to be overpowered, the fact remains that he died in the manhwa. It's possible he might have something like Almighty Break, but I suspect there's a significant drawback as well. He seems like an old Woo, which makes me think there's more to his abilities.
Also, considering Netmarble’s trend, Original Hunters tend to be overpowered, unlike those already established in the story. Mirei is likely to be OP too, especially with the wind support, healing, and mana regeneration. Those are solid points.

Its not just what they're doing with Go Gun Hee that disappointed most People its what Netmarble doing with many of Their games in general many of the players have seen this same exact issue where well they just Don't do justice to the male characters / o.g fan fev characters and how they just firstly shoves in a hundred of op female character in the name of Netmarble Original characters and they literally make them op for baiting players and where it comes to O.G fan fevs they most of the time slacks off knowing that fans of that chars will just pull either way if anyone in this community has played/know's NM's "Kofas" previously they will understand exactly what I'm saying so Getting a fan fev and O.G character after it feels like a year of constant lady banner and that character not looking flashy enough as NM's O.C characters that kinda disappointed players at that first impression i know Gun He wasnt that present / showed much power in the story but if the dev can do so much with their created character's i think they can do that with a character like Gun Hee and make him great as he should be and not just show all their creativity on booba i try to not judge something by its cover so I'm going to wait and see how it goes as I've seen the dev team of this game doing gud stuff so i hope they will do something to not make Gunhe a character that Won't just get overshadowed by that new girl coming before him what they do with their O.C female characters if they showed the half of that love to O.G characters no one would've had any complains just take a look at where the Male characters are now in the game i Don't know what's the deal with Netmarble to turn every game into a Horni waifu simulator but i hope going forward they will keep this thing in mind or they might just face the same issue like Kofas we play game for fun and enjoyment shoving Hollywood bullshit into it nah that's ass strategy ....

Well in my case I do agree that his animations are mid but I still believe he will be OP. Still kinda bumped that his animations are kinda basic but like you said animations are secondary compare to his utilities. Also I agree that he will be the first hunter to scale with 2 stats. I was wondering why is there no hunters that scale with 2 stats but now we will see it! 😍

Mirei entry as new wind dps is much very needed, A10 Dongsuk is nowhere near to atleast A3 mirei, skills multiplier and kits likewise
SooHyun entry as new fire dps is very timing as Choi fix(nerf) for his in ability to crit heavely weakens fire unit in term of dps

yes I do! First year is usually a recap of how High School was and may seem very easy and underwhelming (depending on the study) but 2nd year is a WHOLE other ball game. Enjoy first year but remember the real challenge starts year 2 and don't let it overwhelm you! Also, never be afraid to seek guidance from your professors. Mine were excellent in providing me a roadmap outside of the curriculum to success!

Nah we all been playing netmarble games for years and we know how they roll. Yeah. All males aee weak includinf that cho fire guy. Give girls bikini suits so that we keep pulling them. Game didn't even release 20% of manga and already story has diverged into so much bs like cerebrus and dragon as shadow 🤡 each update they will release power creep chars. I know Netmarble in MFF - they used to release skin and skins had extra power and skills which gave them advantage. Each new skin for the char used to be better compared to thr prev skin. Its a p2p and whale thing. SLA is going same path. Game is barely out and we already have shit load of wepaons and level 73 arts already? Lmao ....just like they did adding tiers to chars when gane became saturated. SLA will go the same way.
