    Ben, when you're sitting in the rear seats talking about leg room, you've gotta...um...close your legs so we can see where your knees are in relation to the seat in front of you. Otherwise, we're just looking at your feet and have no idea how much leg room there really is back there. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

    I would definitely get the elite. Because at $50,000 is really a longevity bargain. Most Honda models can last over 200,000 miles easy. Thanks Ben for always recommend Utah as the state for best deals on vehicles.

      18 Odyssey has 200,000 miles on it but the trans blew at around 180k. What can you say; The engine was tried and tested but this was the first model year with the 10 speed so ig it kind of makes sense that’s what the weak point was.

    Great Van, probably the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Only issue we’ve had has been the infotainment system when the screen will randomly turn off. Other than that occasional issue, it’s a very comfortable and reliable family hauler.

    I found a used Sienna with the 6. Odysseys have had some transmission issues over time. And yeah, not loving Toyota's decision to go with Turbo 4's on their large vehicles. A lot of stress on 4 cylinders.

    • @americandude3825
      @americandude3825 10 месяцев назад +1

      Their sienna aren’t turbo. Love the heck out of my 2022 sienna XLE AWD. plenty of power and not noisy like sienna claim.
      Odyssey has had transmission issues since 2012. My bro in law just got rid of his…for another one………said he wasn’t sure about trusting a hybrid, but now he regret only get mid 20s for mpg. Lol.
      I average 33-34 mpg doing 70 full load for vacations.

      @@americandude3825 I didn't say they put turbos on the Sienna. I said on their large vehicles - I was talking Highlander, new Tacoma, Tundra. Yes, Sienna and 4runner are exceptions so far.

      No transmission problems with mine yet. 2010 with 230k miles on it. People don't change oil transmission. You have to change oil transmission every 60k miles on any car. Vast majority of people ignore this and expect to have longevity

    Hello! What do you think about Grand Highlander vs. Odyssey Touring? I normally travel with 3 adults and 1 baby or more. I love everything about the Odyssey, but there are 4 minor things I don't like. 1. There is no panoramic sunroof. 2. The design of the headphones, screen, USB ports, and other elements looks too old compared to the design of the Grand Highlander. 3. I'm worried about driving a two-wheel drive in Toronto. 4. Power sliding doors usually cause problems. I'd like to hear your opinion.

    • @almassengale
      @almassengale 10 месяцев назад +2

      Odyssey blows away the Grand Highlander on cargo space and has more rear leg room and a much more flexible cabin. Grand Highlander beats the Odyssey badly on tech and like you mentioned things like AWD.

    • @americandude3825
      @americandude3825 10 месяцев назад +2

      Toyota holds value more.
      Honda has a timing belt. Part of routine maintenance. $1800-2000 cost around 60-100k miles.
      Toyota gets 32+ mpg. AWD. Better resale value.
      My bro in law odyssey has the trans. Issues. They’ve been bad since 2012.
      Toyota platform is top notch. Loved my 2022 sienna. Sold it bc it wasn’t quite rugged enough to replace my 2008 sequoia 5.7L with 217k trouble free miles (I use it as a truck).
      Im a toyota snob but I also own Hondas and they are not nearly as good as quality and cost A LOT MORE in maintenance.
