There is actually some palm trees growing outside in the winter on an island right outside Stavanger as you saw for a split second in the trailer

you have a point in that, water is life. But when it is grey every calendar day, you cannot help but not to hate it. In the north side of the world we are experiencing too long winters and look so much forward to some sunshine in June-July-August, and when these months also get covered by grey, we get really annoyed and people walk around in bad moods, and sour faces. Sun is also life as much as water. We need both of them!

Forty days and forty nights of rain, was called a deluge. We call it summer. And the definition of a calm day, is that less than three sheep are blown into the sea....

Stavanger is incredibly beautiful, ancient narrow streets, a lot of great people. Beautiful churches and great nightlife. Also visit the prekestolen very nice in the summer.

Of course i could also go out and spend 200Euros on a night out- that was also an option to make it fun! But the truth is that because everything is so expensive (and it rains 6 ½ days a week) people normally stay at homes and do indoor activites- or go out jogging or running or dog walking. The city is small does not have too much opportunities to offer either. Depending on your age- and am on my 20s I find Stavanger a great place for people past 60 who need peace and quiet!

It is not a huge city, and most pubs, discos are situated by the sea, along three streets/piers, and a block or two upwards in town

We go out anyway! :-) Tho something seems to happen to my stomach when i go out in the Norwegian rain. Maybe it`s because of the oil industry, as i live in Stavanger. And i don`t like it in racing games, like F1. But apart from that. Go rain!

Where is the rain?! XD. I know the sun of the main vocalist, I think, in kaisers. Selveste Oliver Ottesen. And I am the sun of the painter and trubadur:Svein Tang Wa. But sadly not a lot of people know about him, so I can't be "dat kind of guy." Dang it man!

If you lived in Stavanger for half a year, and had problems with boredom...Wow! You must have stayed in your apartment for 6 months, without even trying to have fun! You simply cannot find Stavanger boring, then you did everything wrong during your stay!

Ah, it's you again. You know, very much of what I said/say is trolling. I don't think of Norway as any kind of "Paradise" of any kind, I just like(especially if I've had a few Ringnes(Tou in Stavanger, isn't it? I was at Madlamoen. I like to troll especially americans with all these statitistics and rankings we top for some reason, like "haha 98000dollars per capita, you have only 47000", But Norway's an okay country, no more, except for the west-coast weather: Bergen, Stavanger, yuck, raaaiiin!

I lived in Stavanger for three years, and it's very depressing place, due to the weather, almost always rain, even during summer, you have to pray for some sunny day:(

First of all I am not your brother! Maybe my name (and photo) indicates that I am very much a girl?
Second of all you are being ridiculous with your argument, but to follow up with your analysing style:
Bad weather: Causes bad mood, bad mood
    Continuous bad mood: Causes depression
    Depression: Causes illnesses
Illnesses: Bring you down and if you don't get treated you will die!!
To be more serious I hate bad weather because i am a southerner and can never get used to it. But where are you from?
