Very very busy in the workshop with a couple of big projects so no big video this week, enjoy this little montage instead of my favourite resurrection ❤️
S'all good unda da hood...dont burnout mate do what you need to do to keep most of us idiots happy...and fuk those that think you owe them something... Anyone else not happy should just pick something from the back catalogue, there's enough ffs, Keep it up mate.😊😊
After 24 years as a mechanic i lost the love for cars and engines and went down a new career path which I now really enjoy, however after stumbling across your channel and binge watching every one of your videos i have honestly fallen back in love with cars , so i bought a 1986 BMW e28 525e and got it back on the road and its now my daily driver and I love it especially when repairs are need, thank you Ben you inspired me and reignited my passion i had since i was 16 but lost 3 years ago, i wont go back into the trade as a career, just want to enjoy my hobby now . Derek from Ireland
Appreciate you still uploading Ben! You don't owe us a fresh upload every week! Especially with the huge scale of your vids. We are extremely fortunate that you do come through with bangers week after week and I look forward to next weeks upload.
Still my favourite restoration. I know you see it a bit differently, but I really think this car needs to be garaged in a dry place permanently when it's not being used. I know its patina is a living thing and all that, but still, for the sake of its longevity, it shouldn't be left outside.
Some of the comments are just utterly shocking. You should support Ben no mater what is uploaded. Every week he puts out amazing videos so stop being a bunch of momma boys and get a life.
Nice one man. I Hope you are looking forward to your well earned break over Xmas and the New Year. You deserve it, sincerely. The input you give for your output is always highly commendable (the video and editing is a full time job in itself, hope people realise this). Have a great Festive Yuletide. Thanks for the Mug. Prompt response and delivery. Have a good one Man.👍👍✨️🎉🍺
You know a channel is decent when people like me who don't know the difference between a bolt and a screw and have been called "soft hands" all his life, tune in for each video. Lovely stuff mate!
I did enjoy the video. I don’t think I caught any of the previous installments for this. I think this is the shortest video I’ve ever watched from you. I enjoy your videos. Keep them coming thank you.
This is still the best ever resurrection, I'm going to re watch the whole lot of Panhard videos this evening, I'm so glad you have kept it,brilliant channel Ben,you should be proud of every vehicle to come out of your workshop.
I've been off work over the last 2 days, feeling a bit rough and have been rewatching your back catalogue (Spitfire and Capri episodes so far 😎) which has made me feel so much better 😁 The Panard was the next to watch, so thanks for this 😉 Already looking forward to next week's episode too. I do really appreciate the hard work and effort you put into your videos 💪🏻😎
Great video Ben, but really missed the banter. Appreciate you can't turn out an epic every week, but enjoy the two hour sessions most. Thanks Ben for all your hard work and Merry Christmas mate. Edit - just gone way back in your vids and found the full length episodes of you doing this car👍👍👍👍
The transformation on this really was miraculous. Reckon the Panhard could come to the next Rustival? Being towed by the Tasty Truck, with the Tasty Rascal completing the convoy ? 😂
I used to hand crank an Austin a40 van as a kid and spent part of my childhood as my dad's second pair of hands under a Triumph Herald ,Austin Cambridge and Commer van to name but a few. So your vids are nostalgic and delightful in equal measure. The crustier the better.Be well stay safe.
I'm still holding out hope that you'll do a little trip to the remnants of the Panhard factory in this some day. I think that'd make for an epic adventure for the little thing.
This is awesome. There's something about the love being given to that very special car which has parallels to my own life, as my dad was a super Citroen fan running ID (DS), GS, BX and doing all his own maintenance. The Panhard shares many special features with Citroen of course. I grew up as a small boy with my dad working on his old Citroens, fighting the rust. His legacy to the world, aside from me and my brothers of course, was his keeper, the ID Safari, google 'HMK 6B'. Plus the lovely soundtrack.. thanks Ben !
Missed your usual episode. I must admit I prefer the modern classics, my era. I am sure it is impossible for most of us to imagine the work and time you put in, so thanks for entertaining/educating us in 2024. Looking forward to the next one. Maybe you can get some of the other Ben's to help more, voice over Ben is one of my favourites 😂
@@craigvalberg7397 dear sir . i am not the smilely face kind of guy. more the bah humbug kind of guy. o k ok i was routing for the grench. and i try not to use spell check. i know you can tell. old broken and laugh a lot thank you for your show. i get so tired of camaro's and that stuff. i like learning new stuff. and you sure do that. thank you again.
If you ever got the time I'd love to see your Panhard get a repaint just like the Spitfire. Maybe green and cream. Team Tasty Classics colours. What do you think?
The main thing I noticed in this video is how much weight you've lost now, plus you're far more groomed these days 😂 thanks for the content and your relentless hard work ❤
I only got bits and pieces of the other videos, but I think this is the shortest video I’ve ever watched from you. I didn’t enjoy it and I’ll keep watching if you keep them coming.
Ah Panhard, the company most famous for, a bar, completely ignoring the fact they had a whole lineup of cars before they were bought up by Citroen... :P
Ooh, what are you up to??? I remember almost crying, when you were unsticking this. Then all the fun with the gear linkages! I wound up almost as invested in it as you were, which, for a Francophobe, is saying something. I cut my teeth (and lots of other bits of my anatomy) on R4s, Dyanes, GSs and the like, and I have a long standing aversion to any sort of French Automotive contraptions ever since. Why do ALL concealed edges have to be razor sharp? What kind of perverse mind comes up with a design that calls for a razor edged entire wing to be removed every 3 months, to clean and gap the plugs? Or the entire drive train extracted to adjust the timing chain? And as for dismantling the inlet, to get the starter motor out…!
Nice video but I thought you had wasted a lot of footage that could have been better viewed in normal time over a period of days plus the usual interesting commentary, but what do i know!
I really can't mate... I'm working 7 days a week there isn't any more days. Restoring cars is hugely time consuming and very difficult on your own, I would hope you'd understand. I don't know many other people that have resurrected/restored 20+ cars this year, filmed it, edited it and organised everything else behind the scenes.
Who are you to say this nonsense? Does that make you feel better or something? Your opinion is invalid, could also be seen as hurtful, Ben produces some absolute greatness, just couse one video is different dont mean your opinion has weight.
In all honesty, I would have rather watched you do it in real time over 4h or so. Must say, can't hide my disapointment. Look to be a good job at the end thogh
I understand your busy but that was unacceptable, Ben if you want followers and Patrons then this is unacceptable, especially when you look forward to it all week, please don't throw your channel in the trash. I wouldn't even buy you a coffee for that effort. Come on, sort it.
Mate have you got nothing better to do than make comments like this? We aren’t owed anything from him whatsoever! Even if you pay for patreon, you do it for the support and growth of the channel. Show some decorum, there’s loads of other things you could do with your time.
That seems a bit over the top, I agree the video wasn't upto the usual standards and wasn't for me either with no words etc, but we all know he is working hard on next weeks video which will no doubt be excellent.
Listen up mate Bens obviously got a lot on and sounds like there’s going to be a bumper video next week remember he’s pretty much a one man channel so filming editing and the actual repair all down to him, he’s not the bloody BBC. Crack on Ben looking forward to next week’s instalment 👍👍
@jakezxz1352 not when I do 80hrs a week., not really, I had just looked forward to this all week, but hey ho, by the way are you his spokesman, I'm sure Ben could answer for his self, and don't be starting any beef as I can't be bothered. And yes I'm sure he will come back with something great with out your assistance.
I think I would have preferred it if you had the balls to just put up a 30 second video where you said "sorry folks, I did not create enough valid content this week, so no video". this is as disappointing and irritating a thing as I have ever seen on RUclips. you might as well not have bothered at all. Oh yeah, and leaving the sped-uo squeaky voice noises on the fast motion video bits is just taking the piss. It's like you're trying to annoy us.
Not a fan of this video you are part of my Friday night routine but for the first time I've not finished a video we got to wait another week now Also what is happening with the capri ??????????

Nice little remainder Ben and great to see some old favourites in the background too. Will the Morris Minor ever be done? 😂
Every year, I say next year 😅
Somewhere there is a French mechanic itching to get his or her hands on your Panhard!...
They can have all the LHD ones 😅
I went to the car show just to see the Panhard. I'd forgotten it can be warm in this country.
I'd forgotten how light the workshop floor used to be 😂
Absolutely desperate for a re paint in the spring!
