Yup broke off a Largemouth over 10lbs at clearlake on one of them Yum A-rig set ups because the wire broke like yours did, won't buy any of them again. Been drooling over a Gator Trax so I can get back to fishin river systems again. New Truck 1st.. Thanx for sharin.. Fitch On!
Glad to see somebody else still ties Palamar knots on an A Rig, I thought I was the only one being stubborn. Sometimes I end up cussing a lot.

Those gator trax are badass boats. I like the yum rig for spotted bass but I should of known better then to thro it for stripers.
Get some old cheap prop baits, cut in half for heads, welding supply for NICE wire, and 2 part epoxy from home depot make your own STOUT A rigs!
Used up your American River luck on all those big steelhead!
Which boat ramp is best at launching when the CFS is that high?
Their was only 2 ramps open during the high water sunrise and sailor
@@fishermanwilson8342 that makes sense. I saw the river is now 9 thousand CFS.
Can’t wait to get out there!
Nice job, appreciate you taking us all along!
Those A rigs always break on striper
Pretty awesome. On your A-Rig what size jig head do you use and length of plastics? Thanks
I was using 3/8oz heads and 5” baits
That was crazy
G funk baits is best
They make a good rig
Good job looks like a lot of fun
Come fish the sac
I need too that’s for sure. Their are some giants on that river
@@fishermanwilson8342 there’s giants where your at too. Just throw baits like the one you caught that 40lb’er on. You will get bit
I can't wait to see what you throw next week! 🤙
