When Wrexham played at Dorking I was so impressed with the welcome and friendliness of the Dorking fans / staff we met. Of course winning 5-0 away classes as a good trip for us, but when I watched Marc White's interview post game with the Dorking commentator, I was so impressed with the honest assessment, the lack of the usual football platitudes, the appreciation of the Wrexham fans making the trip to be there, and the sheer enthusiasm for football that is so infectious. Since Wrexham's visit to Dorking, I have been following Dorking's results and post-match assessments, learnt a lot about the history and fantastic journey rising through the leagues to get to the National League now. Wrexham are in an exciting place right now - the crowds at home and following away are unreal. Getting promotion from the National League is harder than any other division for me, but maybe this is our season at last. Wrexham aside, Dorking have another fan now, it's a great club with a great Manager (/owner / everything else!) and I wish them all the very best. See you at the Racecourse in Feb '23! I hope the Dorking fans are treated to a pint or two to match the generosity the Wrexham fans received on their visit! Dorking Uncovered is a great watch. Cheers, John B
Great episode as always. The best part was where a suspicious looking chap was seen hopping over the fence like an Olympic hurdler. Hopefully we'll see Dan Lincoln back inbetween the sticks as he's had his fun smashing sixes in the European Cricket Championship.
Really been enjoying watching this since the Dulwich episode and as a Wrexham fan obviously been waiting for this episode. So much to like about Dorking and always look out for their results. Shame about some morons on the Wrexham front, unfortunately we seem to have a small contingent of idiots that I’ve witnessed myself coming out of the ground even giving our own fans grief at times. Good luck for the rest of the season.
I love this show. Following my new team. I live in Australia and haven played pro football Marc is a great person, Character and Manager. He is more than capable of managing in the Football league. 👍⚽️
RobRyanRed turned me onto this series when the Wrexham episode came out. Went back and watched it from the beginning. Great job. Really enjoying following the progression of this club. One nit to pick. Paul Mullin won the Golden Boot in League 2 in 20/21. Won it in the National League last year. Hoping Wrexham goes up this year and we'll be able to continue following Dorking on their journey through the National League. Also, is there any chance of updates with the lads who are out injured? Got to be a hard time for those players, would love to hear from them as they progress.
really sorry to see that injury to Alfie again - just out of interest, how many injuries per season do you think you pick up because of the artificial pitch ? See players wearing blades on them all the time & ending up with horrific injuries
Was at the game primarily as a groundhopper but have considered Wrexham my second team for many years so took the opportunity to travel on their supporters coach. Nice to see extended coverage injures put a slightly different slant on the game
With absolute respect to the sport science/medical department, the number of soft tissue injuries seems concerning for this level, I hope they get given the support they need
I enjoyed the prognosis about the Wrexham fans on the Patreon page. Can appreciate why they're so bitter though. 14 years in non league is a long time.
Difficult for Dorking the moment they lost their centre back through a head injury of all things. Most other injuries and as long as he could win headers he’d be able to do a job. Parky’s tactics haven’t changed much since Bradford City’s “history makers” team that got to the EFL Cup Final as a L2 club. Two banks of four with James Hanson (Ollie Palmer) and Nahki Wells (Paul Mullin). We used to call Parky the special one and don’t be too downhearted about this result. Jose himself was outclassed by Parky so was Arsene Wenger. Arsenal, Aston Villa and Chelsea all got done by Bradford City with pretty much the same tactical approach. Just a shame the media circus got to everyone before we played Swansea City in the final and we lacked the focus that got us there. Would be great if Dorking Wanderers could sneak a play-off place as it would be a great story, even more historic than what we pulled off, if they can make it to the EFL.
Dan was right, fine margins. On the day they were better in defence and their strikers were clinical. I think mark is right and wrong. You club is as good as your players. They have come up a level and he needs to remember that. Having possession doesn’t mean you’re all over a team, it just means you have possession. They were comfortable enough at the back to allow forking the possession and knew what they had going forward. Would it have been so bad had Ed not gone off? Maybe, maybe not. But overall, sometimes you have to accept you were beat by the better side.
Dominating the ball is misleading. What you do with the ball is the true "KPI", looks like higher quality teams allow dorking have the ball then pick them off when they eventually lose possession . Fair play to sticking to the philosophy that got them promoted, but does the team/mgt have the ability or willingness to adapt to the opposition?
Those Wrexham fans after the first goal will probably be sitting in front of Amazon prime in August waiting to see themselves thinking they were being filmed for the Welcome to Wrexham 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I wonder when the point will come where Marc needs to hang up his boots as manager and just focus on the running of the club, most probably if Dorking get promoted to League 2 maybe? Or relegated back down to National South. Either way, idk what UEFA license he holds but to go from non-league to Pro in League 2 maybe he needs either a manager or better coaching staff.

cheers John, absolute class. wish Wrexham have their day in the sun sooner or later, hope it's this year for you
This team deserves all the exposure in the world. Can't wait to watch the continued rise through the leagues.
4th official is a disgrace not prioritising the sub of the CB. This approach to head injuries needs to change asap
He looks about 15

Enjoyed the film. Sorry to hear that you had some trouble from a few of our knobheads. Good luck for the rest of the season. Dave
I love following Dorking from Norway. New fan here - of the channel too. Great stuff!

got hooked on these when Dorking came up so went back to the start. great to see my club on it. top hosts Dorking, warm welcome waiting in north wales
Y'all have me staying up late night like I'm binge watching GOT!!! Watching from TX
😂
Wrexham player Aaron Hayden played for my team Stourbridge FC and he used to catch the bus to games 😂
To allow Ed to play on was a disgraceful decision from the medical staff, what the hell were they thinking?
12.34 that bird wanted a piece of you Marc mate 🔥

Fave time of the week, keep up the good work lads
That Sir John Fenwick joke got a 'ho ho ho!' laugh out of me. Always have time for obscure history jokes 🤣
Wrexham fan here, after Wrexhams results I look for Dorking next, want them to stay up.
Great Episode ....onwards and upwards Dorking ..still punching!

“We’re all over em” 1 shot the entire first half
Fair play to Tozer. Such a shame to see Alfie go down.
I don’t feel like Slav or Dan Lincoln can cut it at this level. I’m excited to see how the new QPR signing does
He pulled a rob green yesterday
i agree i have thought for a while now!
That injury to Alfie was heartbreaking
It’s unfortunate that Reynolds and McElhenney are near enough unroastable
The guy Jebb just can’t cut it at this level, sadly. Equally the keeper.
Hopefully Dan Lincoln is back in goals soon. No idea how long the cricket season goes
8:02 them teeth 😂😂😂 sums up Wrexham
Get well soon alfie ❤️
Need a bigger more physical threat up top
Will you be making the trip to the Racecourse for the return fixture?
Can’t wait for this episode!
Sammy should have come on for Ed. So sorry for Alfie. 😢
Wrexham were ruthless, one of those days for Wanderers

At the game yesterday do you know when the bromley episode will be released
January most likely.
@@BunchOfAmateurs thanks mate keep up the great work also pass on to Marc thanks such a welcoming club
The injuries docking get must surely be to do with their pitch. Tear the bloody plastic up.
Harris went off but El Abd is on the bench and he brings Bobby on?
Sami doesn’t often play in a three.
Just a suggestion you’s should display starting 11s no?
No thanks!
Why’s Slav not come for that first goal
He should’ve come and got it or stayed on his line. He got caught in no man’s land
I only just clocked that Dan is conor G's older brother..😅
Wrexhams players are like giants
Once alfie got injured i turned off .. you can actually hear the crack .. hate seeing this ..
I was their. Worst pitch I’ve ever seen in 40 odd years
How so?

He also hates the term 'salty'.

@@BunchOfAmateurs ha, sorry yea, it's not great but hey ho :)
Dorking are gonna get absolutely no where with that Keeper. You will forever be non-league with such a poor keeper

The ones behind the goal were remarkably unpleasant.
It’s quite weird as have seen Wrexham an odd few times over the years but have always noticed the lack of teeth!

You do a better job.
Lol strange response that all?😂😂@grahamcollie5077
Sorry but Slav is Isthmian league level, Nat South/North at best. Need a new keeper. Get in a Chelsea youngster!!!
They just signed a goalkeeper on loan from Queens Park Rangers
