Kata Beach is one of my favorite beaches on Phuket so anytime you are able to be nearby that beach its always a good thing. The walk down to the nightlife is about 10 minutes going down and 15 minutes coming back up. The walk to the beach is about 12 minutes going down and 17 minutes coming back up to the Novotel Hotel from Kata Beach.
