Been binge watching voron 0 videos recently! I appreciate all your in-depth videos! I think I’ve officially decided to go the Sibor route to save some money :) can’t wait to get building this summer!
Thanks much for your support!! I really appreciate it. Thanks for the fantastic Voron 0.2 kit and all you guys do in the community. Really appreciate it!
Can confirm yea, the formbot kit's rails have no preload, so the X rail can wobble pretty easily, even the umbilical cable can cause the head to wobble while moving through the Y axis.
Been watching your video series as I build this kit. I was hoping there would be a build series for this one as well but I k ow it takes a ton of work to film that. Is there any chance you could dive into the x Toolhead wiring a bit? Did you cut the wires and crimp new connectors on? My leads are insanely long and I’m torn between just bundling them or cutting and crimping. The LDO documentation for this kit leaves much to be desired where the picobilical is concerned.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, I agree that would be a good video, especially for the LDO specific parts and the picobilical. I did not cut any of the connectors and just zip tied them up in the back. I did find a few of them a bit longer, but for the most part I think it is fine. I got a little creative with the wiring on the back panel and just tucked most of it into the wiring track. Best of luck with your build and feel free to ping me in the discord, I'm happy to share a few more detailed pictures if it would help.
Awesome, thanks for the sub! It’s a great printer and is getting the job done very well. I am definitely happy with the build quality and components, you can’t go wrong with an ldo kit.
I'm a Life scout looking to finish my Eagle project, and this kit is going to be my next project! I'm super excited to build my first Voron and I'm so so glad that you put out this awesome video. Super cool! Thanks!
That is awesome! Best of luck on it, I think you will really enjoy your kit. Glad to hear you are getting your Eagle scout too!! That is awesome, I was involved in scouting as well.
Can you list the filament colors of your builds in each video's description? I did not catch the colors -- I think you said "Thorium Thilver" and some sort of red but I did not catch the name and brand. Thanks.
Sure, I will have to get those added. The filament was from Fusion Filaments, and the colors are Thorium Thilver and Red Dwarf. Links here: Thorium Thilver: fusionfilaments.com/1kg-abs20-filament-thorium-thilver Red Dwarf: fusionfilaments.com/1kg-abs20-filament-red-dwarf
I seem to have the same bond tech gear...the flat section is indeed only 4.5mm 😢 Do you know if the part is unusable for the stock extruder or wether the flat is at least in the right spot? Will find out next week otherwise 😅 Also took me a second to figure the Kirogami bed out, LDO still seems to link the older parts in their supplemental guide Thanks for the great review!
@@ldomotorsjason3488 thank you! I actually noticed one other thing: the packing list in the kit calls for a "axial fan 3006, 5v" and one "axial fan 3010 24v" but the kit comes with two 3010 24V fans (one for the SB and one from the 0.2 upgrade kit)
Glad you figured out the Kirigami bed! Yeah, it would be nice to get the updated links there for the parts. I know those came out after the kits so that probably just needs updated. For the Bondtech Gear, I did try to get it working in the stock mini SB but it seemed to be too short of a distance for the end of the shaft to make contact in the bearing. Someone else had the same issue when I asked around, and they ended up grinding down more of the flat so they could better position things and then eventually got it working. I am curious if you do end up using it/getting it working, please swing by and let us know if you do and what you had to do! Best of luck.

Awesome, and thanks for dropping a comment! Best of luck on your build!
Thanks for straight review and all the suggestions. We will keep improving.

Great video Greg, thanks for the shout out!

You need to compare to a fysetc v0.2 pro
I would definitely be up for a comparison if they'd send me one! :)

I am in love with your printer! How is it still holding up 4 months later?? You gained a sub!

@@GregsMakerCorner sweet i will be placing my order soon as i get paid next! im so excited! :D
Does this printer kit come with pre crimped wires?
Yes it does! The pre-crimped wiring makes it very easy to build.
Thanks for an informative video 🫡

After seeing these at MRRF I needed to see some more. These seem like a lot of fun to build.
It really is a great build! I have enjoyed them. Thanks for stopping by at MRRF too!

We fixed Kirigami link, thanks for mention.

@@realcrys okay. Will double check. V0.1 used 3006, my team May didn’t change it.
