Texas Weather Pattern Change is Arriving! Get ready for Rain!

- A rare summer cool front and pattern change will bring rain chances to Texas well into next week. Spotty storms are expected today and on Friday, but even higher rain chances will begin this weekend and continue through the first half of next week. One to four inches of rain may fall by Tuesday morning from the Concho Valley east through the Hill Country, Central Texas, South-Central Texas, North Texas, Texoma, the Ark-La-Tex, East Texas, Brazos Valley, Southeast Texas, and the Golden Triangle. With rain expected to continue across the southeastern half of Texas on Tuesday and Wednesday, some folks may have to deal with flooding. The severe weather threat is low, but some storms may produce strong wind gusts and frequent lightning. With all the cloud cover and rain chances, we’ll also see afternoon temperatures in the 80s to 90s versus the upper 90s and 100s.

I am so happy about this. This summer seems to almost be the opposite of last. Warm/hot but not extremely so, and not much drought for the most part. And just about everywhere in Texas will have rain at some point. Can't get much better

@@peachxtaehyung been loving the rain, my garden last year was rough barely productive i almost didnt try this year but glad i did, im getting bumper crops of everything. This mild summer has been amazing

Yall down there been doing ok but been drought and hot in Panhandle.getting a little rain, but not much yet. Can't wait for a cooldown.

last year had three months solid of no rain in middle texas. Rain is good.
I love this weather. We just added a 5k gallon rain water tank a couple of weeks ago and it's filling up.

I don't know who you were asking, but except when I was very young, I've never really had cats until the past few years. They are pretty smart and cute, and we have one who is still living in our home right now. The others have passed on sadly. But I feed a couple of outdoor cats too (the strays), and have been doing that for a few years now. I was never a cat person before really, but now I realize how great they are!
Yay cooler temps! Why do they (the radar) have crispy earth colors for below 100 degrees?!? Those colors look like the temps should be triple digits in the teens. Someone be messing with something.🫣
