Loved this vlog Oliver. When we were performing ‘Grease’ at school cha cha did a high kick and her stiletto shoe came off and the heel hit the piano teacher in the head. I still remember it like it was yesterday and I am 44.
haha these things stand out when you remember the shows! Our March Hare in Alice in Wonderland kicked his shoe over his own head during his dance; it was funny and suited the character!
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
I like that the two that help the guy off are angels. The 9-5 one...that chair is meant to fall back like that but not at that point in the show. He either pushed the wrong button or one time too many. The Milky White one cut out the funniest part. Someone (orchestra, probably) snuck up and put the leg back up.
I had a similar thing happen to me at school as the first clip! The light blew and a shard of glass hit me in the arm, unbeknownst to me it had cut my forearm. It was only when the emergency lights went on we saw my bloodied arm. They still talk about it at my school in their health and safety talks 😂😂
There are so many clips of that one Peter Pan production going wrong and I am 90% sure it was the inspiration for Mischief Theatre's Peter Pan Goes Wrong
When we were in Oliver rehearsals years ago (I was in Fagin's gang) and we were in the theatre by this point so the show was a few weeks to go. The theatre we were in wasn't massive and there wasn't a lot of space to hang out while you were off stage. So us kids sat at the back of the auditorium and watched. It was the funeral parlor scene, we had a coffin on the floor of the stage and our Mr Bumble was in front of it and he took a step back forgetting it was there and fell and all you could see was his legs in the air and for a split second he wasn't moving so everyone was like is he ok? And then the legs start wiggling wildly about in the air with him shouting that he was Ok but all we could see from our perspective were these two legs in stocking socks wiggling about looking like they weren't attached to anything coming out from the coffin. We had a good laugh about it 😂
I have had an awful week for reasons i won't bore people with but i was exhausted ,stressed and in pain but the clips and Oli's reaction had me in stitches and it has made me feel a lot better! laughter really is the best medicine ...thank you xxx
The first clip shows exactly why we use safety bonds on the fixtures encase the actual clamp fails. Practice safe rigging and it wouldn’t have happened.
When I was in my school's production of Mary Poppins, I was one of the first chimney sweeps to go on for Step in Time. I was waiting to go on stage with a couple of my friends and we just heard this crash. The actors who played Jane and Micheal had to climb through the chimney. Basically they would duck inside the "fireplace" and there was a couple steps up. Except this show the chimney fell over. They managed to get it upright and no one was hurt though.
Oliver: * says another day in every intro * Me: * everytime completes it with another destiny and continues to sing one day more throughout the whole video * I am officially infected by musical theather, and i am not complaining! Hatchetfield can take me rn if they want!
There’s a video I see all the time. It’s a west end live from a few years back and it’s billy Elliott. One of the young ballerinas comes on and falls right over at the back. I thought she dealt with it very well.
In school we did a play (that my teachers wrote so it was some weird story). Anyway in the scene before me, the guys had to blow soap bubbles? And they weren't allowed to use it in practice as it would damage the floor, so the first perfomance was the first time they used the bubbles. My scene was on afterwards, and I basically have to "flee" from stage. Obviously the bubbles made the floor slippery, and I just fell on my face, tried to get up and failed, and crawled off as fast as I could 😂 (for the next performance, they took the bubbles out)
I’ve seen the milky white one from into the woods a few times now and it’s one of my favourites. I’m crying with laughter now after watching it again! I think there’s more to the Into The Woods one... edit- found the full clip- my favourite part is the leg slowly being pushed back on to the stage in the corner! ruclips.net/video/U-1_4VwHGdo/видео.html
Oh the poor dog ,I did so laugh

Much enjoyed this video 😂
in the 9 to 5 production I was in our Mr Hart would also fall of the chair in that scene so it might have even been in the script
I'm going to hell for laughing!
If you can, do a video of your Frozen castmates best moments
