This is a good video that shows how to solve a common problem with ATS. The video is clear and easy to follow, and the demonstration is helpful. If you are having problems with your ATS repeating transfers, I recommend watching this video. Other comments The video is well-produced and informative. The presenter is clear and easy to understand. The video is a good length. The video is visually appealing. I would recommend this video to anyone who is interested in learning how to solve a repeated transfer issue with an ATS.
Nice video. Without connecting the control wires can the ats still function manually to switch sources with the orange knob, and if so does the manual/auto switch still need to be set?
I want to use this ATS to switch between Grid and my EV car that does V2H. Meaning default power is grid but when I plug in my EV and start V2H it needs to switch to using EV until EV power is turned off. I guess I need to connect EV to 'normal power' side A and Grid to Generator Power B. The Load will go to my house PV inverter as a AC source.. What do you think?
Why are the wires so small? I have this same ATS and the wiring is extremely thick. Since this is handling AC power, and potentially a lot of it (45A from a 10 kW solar system at 220v), the wire would need to be 6 AWG copper or 4 AWG aluminum. Is this just for illustration purposes? These wires are fine for control wires but definitely not for carrying AC.
Please recommend for me a suitable home DB to install the 2 pole ATS with a delay timer 2 RCBO, 1 Voltage regulator & 4 circuit breakers. Thank you for the work you are doing.
Love your video, is it possible to create one implementing a full connection using solar panels with it modules, connecting the main house/office greed as a automated transfer switch when the electricity goes out? Thanks
I have two power source. Both are line connctions. Is it possible when i am using power source of B, it will not switch to Main power supply. If B gone then it will switch to Main. Because this ATS interrupting me when i using desktop PC.
an ATS just performs as when there is no power in your main power supply, then it will automatically switch to the standby power for uninterrupted power supply sir

@@CNCElectric1988 But, sir there is a lot of voltage fluctuations and due to this bulbs in house are damaged. Also, I want to put my 2x 1.5 ton AC's on this switch.
Your design is not fully automatic because there is no command signal to start the generator. You need to manual start the generator if the power from the grid have no supply.

If use an Timer in the sensor lines in the green connections, it could work by Timer ?
good video, clear explanation 👍👍
thanks friend
Well explained, many thanks..
Awesome video. Never heard of CNC before but this explanation was too good.
thanks
great explanation! Can it handle loads of 32amps?

Excelente explanation. Thank you very much
thanks so much for you comment

The wire size obviously reflect the loads
Great video. Can you please list the above parts? I can't real all of the part numbers on the components in the video

thank you for this video
thanks for your comment
Can hold power for computer power supply while switching
Very nice explanation. What about setting up using contactors, which one is the best?
both are okay friend,
Can this ATS be used with battery and inverter supply instead of generator source?
yes,sir

sir,you may pls show me the dimension of the devices you have installed in the DB for us to recommend the suitable one for you
How about if i want to put indicator light on both A and B power supply. Where do i put the wires?
Hello, pls I need a brief explanation on how my generator 3 wires to switch on and off could be connected to the ATS. Thanks for your response.
nice and great video

is the output of changeover switch uninterruptible during transition? Tia
yes,it is
That is clear and i like the 10 second delay. Think i will add this myself.

Can you give me the website link of your company?
Can this ATS send signal to start generator?
nope sir
How much inrush current is involved when the ATS switches over?
I measured 1A peak at 220vac
