    I have this lens.. the swirly effect can be coaxed out wide open at f2 and mainly at shorter subject distances with busier backgrounds like foliage or point light sources.

    I bought one but had to return it because it wouldn't focus beyond 3 meters, but I want another. Really nice normal lens unless you try to get the crazy swirly bokeh.

      @@julesvuottosphotofocus4696 backlit leaves are a good bet, experiment with distances from camera, background etc

    I have one, but am confused on how to make aperture’s click, mine seems to be clickless

      @@smkunder1 The previous owner may have disabled the clicks for use with video. Do an online search to see if there is a way to enable the click stops. Thanks for watching.

    To get the most swirls possible you need to shoot wide open and be close to your subject and shoot at the minimum focus distance. But still doesn’t work every time.
