Egr blocks,Inlet manifold and swirl flaps crud up and lose boost through the bar.DMF go,Gear selector jam due to a badly designed bushing,water pumps are plastic and give up early ,CID behind the drivers wheel common electrical fault,Subframes rust out ,Front water pipe rusts and Leaks,Regulator on alternator go out early.Ive had 5 I love them lol

The cid is the absolute worst thing in GM produced saabs. Fucking hate that little airbag light

My 08 Saab Aero won't let me open the hood!?? I pull the lever. It clicks but I can't lift it to release latch?? Please help me!

Same engine as Fiat group and Opel. Good performances but not low consum. It's a pity Saab isn't between us nowadays....good video!!

Tell me if you think I got a good deal, about an hour ago I just purchased a Saab 9-3tid vector sport, it’s an 09 plate, AUTO, sitting on 90k for £1800
@80k - Full service inc All filters, glow plugs and oil changed. Also had battery and discs and pads replaced at the same time.
86k - Oil change/pil filter replaced
New aletrnator fitted last year.
Waterpump and timing belt replaced at around 75k miles

A good deal on a Saab is relative to how much work has been done on it .They all suffer from common faults and if some of these have been done reflects on the price .

the older saabs yes, the newer ones was made by GM motors, ,and they used a engine from FIAT.. so it went to garbage.
