Chandler wants Gaethje…but Gaethje is chillin. He got that Khabib backend money and he’s in no rush. He said there’s no reason for him to fight #9 (Islam)
It's because he respects Lawler as another OG in the fight game who has had struggles enough to be considered a first fight back and gives Robbie the opportunity to get his rematch.
Maybe it’s a tune up fight before calling for a difficult match later on whether at 170 or 85. Not that Robbie is easy but he’s an old school fighter, with no new changes. It just makes sense.
Nick was one of the most exciting fighters to step into the cage. Not a single boring fight from that man. Hell even if Nick sucks after the long layoff I bet he still makes it exciting.
Nate diaz said when he called out masvidal after beating pettis; the best fighters to him are the ones that have been around forever. Lawler had been around forever, so it makes sense nick would accept a fight with him because he meets the criteria.
I could be wrong but i am sure we already got the answer from Nick.I am pretty sure Nick stated that he is too old and just wanted an equal matchup and what i took away from it was that he is NOT aiming at any titles. So in Lawler he just wanted anotehr older dude who is deteriorating in skills,he wants a fight that is both notable and that he can win.
Don’t hate on me but I got a question, could nick have fought in like a dif league when he got suspended or was he not allowed? Ik he didn’t but like could he have fought in one championship if he wanted too?
Cash in on that ‘Diaz brand’ he helped build over the last 20 years. It’s the era where having a brand is as Valuable as ever. Get it now! The golden age of advertisement
Because Nick respects Lawler. He’s been there from the start. It’s all about money n Lawler deserves the best pay day he will get. It’s a good fair fight of two dudes who don’t have many more fights left in them. Perfect for both. Nick Knows things. He’s a good dude xox
The fight makes perfect sense to me. Nick is smart enough to know that he needs a tune-up fight before he jumps in with the Masvidals and the McGregors of the world, and who better to tune up with than a guy of comparable age AND whom he's already beaten? Perfect sense.
Uncle Chael: The rankings are meaningless and I don't have the foggiest idea where to find them. Also Uncle Chael: If Nick Diaz's return is motivated by ranking, now I'm listening.
Bro, it’s about one thing. Money. Lawler was Diaz’ first UFC fight. Lawler has gone thru the ringer with the UFC in terms of pay. Diaz is gonna pull millions of dollars in PPV. He’s gonna help Lawler get paid for the first time in the “getting paid” era. Diaz brothers have been doing this for a minute.
There's two things I know about fighting, one skinny lanky guys can fight forever and two bigger heavy hitters are dangerous if you get caught lacking. Diaz brothers are high stamina.
It still blows my mind how fast the switch turned on the Diaz bros fame after the first Conor fight. Before then, I remember eeevvveerrryyyyyyooonnnneeee and their brother were hating on em
They gave him Lawler to see where he's at. It's somebody he's fought before so it makes sense. The fight is just to see where nick is at skill wise cuz he is 38 or 39 years old which is old for mma.

@@theegonzo3325 partial owner, not sure about the real estate claim. Dude has partied how hard for the last 5 years? Seeing his interviews, he's blown lots of money I'm sure. Oh and he lives in CA. Not a cheap place to live.. not saying he's broke by any means, but most likely not living a lifestyle he can maintain on the cbd business.
@@theegonzo3325 Yes, Nick is a good business man
That sign in the background should have the slogan: "Mean Street Coffee. Never lost a ground!" (with Van Halen's Mean Street playing in the background)
Someone's 0 must go!
(Wins Nick and Robbie have had in their past 3 fights)
As much as I enjoy to see both guys, I enjoy the truth more😉
Robbie is a beast and people enjoy watching him fight, Nick has the love of the people. They are the 2 tough kids in school and they will fight. The WHOLE school will want to watch!!!! It’s simple
He wants to sell wolf tickets!
Love it hahaha fukin wolf tickets people! Let's go Nick
“Tough as an old leather boot”
Lmao that’s a good one!
Nick Diaz about to come back, lose, and then mumble some stuff about being "too real" or whatever. 😆
The only thing Nick is gonna lose is his patience with such dumb comments.
Most excited i've been in years about UFC when I heard Nick is comin back.It is always a great pleasure to watch his elite skills in action and I was pissed right off when he got 5 yr suspend for smokin pot and depriving me and others of the pleasure of watching him work.Glad he is back, love both Diaz Bros like they are my own bros.
💯 Nick is the best in the world!!
Man uncle chael is brilliant as always. this is a amazing scrap!🥋🥊👍👍😊
Diaz boys made it. And now are helping out the people that deserve it
He was suspended three plus years for not staying off the weed. Nevada shortly changed the rule after but his sentence was still upheld.
This fight is for the fans that were around when strike force was big, hope Nick comes out and proves he still has it.
A gentleman never tells chael.
The fact that these two are rematching considering their fight was a year before i was born and im still bound to watch a 5 round war,im 16 btw
What time is it? It's 2:09
Thanks Chael!
Its not what Nick wants or Lawlor it's what Dana wants.
Nick was one of the most exciting fighters to step into the cage. Not a single boring fight from that man. Hell even if Nick sucks after the long layoff I bet he still makes it exciting.
My name is Chael and ill talk about Nick for 2 minutes and Dagestanis the rest of the time and add Chandler. Chael is the man
Nate diaz said when he called out masvidal after beating pettis; the best fighters to him are the ones that have been around forever.
I think Nick Diaz vs Carlos Condit 2 is a good shout. I think it would be better now then the first one. Mike Perry could be cool too.
McGregor is on his way out. He's got arthritis
He just wants to be loved...and 10 round fights. Lmao
😁
Anyone have the time stamps for this?
Literally the answer to every question Chael asks in this video: money.
He knows Lawler will go to war. He wants a war full of highlights to propel him to his next goal.
"Jake Paul, you're taking everything I worked for moth... Wait I'm still under contract? Ok can I get a fight please Dana"
To be real im glad Nick is coming back. I'm ordering it literally for Nick.
Watched the 1st 1 love the rematch. Both bmf’s
Okay, just love the fight period!!! No psych review needed, fans loved that first fight!!!
Uncle Chael: The rankings are meaningless and I don't have the foggiest idea where to find them.
Also Uncle Chael: If Nick Diaz's return is motivated by ranking, now I'm listening.
Lol!
I was bitten for the first time by a shark because of midlife crises. It's definitely a real thing. Lol
Did that cure it?
@@ijustchangedmyname7794 cure what? You think it's a disease or something? Lol
Diaz brother fight to fight and they do it when they want. 😂
Chandler isn't going to let that go. He said on the broadcast he was taking his fighter hat off for the night and being an analyst.
You have to take a pick if you want to take fighting serious. Do I want to get high? Or do I want to be the best
They gave him Lawler to see where he's at. It's somebody he's fought before so it makes sense. The fight is just to see where nick is at skill wise cuz he is 38 or 39 years old which is old for mma.
