    Tell it JD BANE!

To answer the question - YES!
You have to take into account that the team has the most financial resources in the league, have access to tons of corporate sponsorships, get a monopoly of media coverage, have a modern downtown area a filled with fans, have a proud history, etc. and have been mostly inept since 1967.

there's no urgency to win as scalpers and season tickets holders just sell off the tickets. The atmosphere at the game is like no other. And not in a good way. its needs to change by emptying those seats. And the last game I went to there were empty seats. so lets keep that up.

Hire a president that can pick his own gm to work with

And who’s got the smarts at MLSE to do that? The head of PR? The head of merch? The broadcast rights guy? Any of the other suits that strut around playing boardroom politics?

My question: who at MLSE is the brilliant, hockey-savvy executive that will have a clue who to hire as a new GM?

      They don't HAVE one.
      There's your answer.

  • @anthonybatissa1417

Yeah, the WBC is nothing like the Olympic Basketball & Hockey we just saw! since 06 It's been just a Spring Training Tournament, for Baseball the MLB players would have to go to the Olympics with their best Rosters & in Mid-season form, replace their All-Star game! For it to be taken seriously.

Why do the Leafs consistently refuse to build from the net out, and waste assts trying to build around an overvalued the forward group. Their last great D-man was Salming.

Treliving should be fired. BEFORE Friday. Don't give him a chance to screw anything else up. Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Marner. No single gm has lost as many big pieces on their team as Treliving in the cap era.

YES the Leafs are a hapless, hopeless franchise and that's just the way everyone here WANTS it to be.
    Happy now?
