July 12 is the birthdate Eric and Taiji share (Eric in 1950 and Taiji in 1966…same year as me, so don’t do the math! 😸). July 17 is the anniversary of Taiji’s passing which was in 2011. Yes, this was an official music video in 1991…and had the Headbanger’s Ball played this just ONCE (the lyrics are in English for crying out loud), I would have IMMEDIATELY fallen deep into this band 33 years ago! Better late than never, though…I have been making up for lost time since 2021! 😸🤘 And yeah, continuity errors abound with hide, who is wearing an eye patch in some shots but not in others….but who’s paying attention besides me?!? That was Pata and Toshi throwing around a baseball at the end (NOT part of the music video but the next segment on the Visual Shock DVD that this clip came from). Yoshiki was considered the band leader and the “boss” but hide was the true star. He always got the biggest pop during band introductions - just watch any live performance from any era…the place erupted at the mention of his name. Now I want to cry. REST IN PEACE, dear Taiji, hide, AND Eric… LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL! ❤😻🤘❤
@@michaelespinosa9168 You would probably enjoy the entire Jealousy album (where this track is from) if you liked this....and since 1994 is another one of your fave music years, check out hide's solo album Hide Your Face (from that year)! Shane did a reaction to the track Blue Sky Complex (at my request, of course) about a year ago....there's some groovy funk metal happening that I think would be appealing to you....
Taiji was born on July 12, 1966. He died on July 17, 2011. RIP Taiji. By the way, I think the one from the clip at the end was Pata, the rhythm guitarist. Could you react to X Japan's anthem called "X" from 1989/1990 please? Or maybe to Dahlia from 1996? Thank you.

This is a rocking jam that would make Dream Theater fanatics like myself proud! When was this released? Forgive me for not knowing much about X-Japan!
1991, dear Espi! ❤
