Something like this would not only be great for traveling, but at home when the power suddenly goes out I could save my work on my pc before it shuts off.
Could this be used as an uninterruptable power supply for a PC? I doubt it is designed for this purpose as it would need to be permanently connected. But it would be nice to know about more use-cases. I'd need something that can confidently power a travel kettle, these all start at 300W so a no-go. If you're using MS Word or Excel, use the save automatically setting and you won't lose work in a power cut.
Can you charge this with a portable power bank useing USB c? I can't find an answer. If you were camping with this could you use a mini power bank to charge it up if your getting low on juice.
Anker 521 - Totally useless - load of issues by users and mines dead now too - won’t charge/ or replace under warranty as I bought used on eBay (off this guy!!) Display never showed correct % from the start - suggest any buyers find something better.
(I'm confused what's the best care for these batteries? Don't over or under charge or leave dormant without top ups) So what's the advised % to start recharging at and to what level ? So I get the best out of these please? Great review tho - I'm sold ;) mostly because they are long lasting,light and quiet 😁
@@MashITTech have you ran lights off of it? I'd be curious to know how long 2 55 watt lights would last on a full charge plugged into it... that's going to be my primary purpose with this battery bank, 2 55 watt soft boxes

Good review and that's a good deal for that type of PPS, but have you had a chance to look at the Aeiusny Portable Power Station, 296Wh/400W? I think its a better bang for buck and its now $149 and has a $10 discount so its $139. When I reviewed it a couple of days back it was at $160.

That's a tough one as they both look like great products. The Anker has the built in light which is handy and Anker provies a 5 year warranty as opposed to Jackery's 2 year. I guess a lot may come down to price in your region but if they are similar I would take the Anker personally
Where is anker located on a map? 😂 I’m thinking of taking the plunge, with the 5 year warranty it’s a no brainier and seems very versatile. Although the golabs R300 looks a good alternative too.

@@MashITTech I followed ur link to update my bios some time ago and it was jxt fine but jxt last night my laptop jxt went off and won’t turn on no matter what, I had it diagnosed by a professional and guess what my bios is corrupted….. I’m jxt freaked out. What if he is not able to bypass and reprogram it? 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ I’m really worried
have you spoken with Alienware tech support? they have a web chat or phone chat. Also which BIOS version number did you download from Dell? Also how does the pro know its a corrupted BIOS?
@@MashITTech I don’t know about the web chat (kindly assist so I can join) They run a diagnostic test on the laptop and came at that report on the bios corrupting and my friend also run the same update and now his laptop shut down too and won’t turn on no matter what. I followed the link u provided under your mux switch video for the bios update

Can it power on a pc with rtx 3060?
2:57, they do also turn off. If they draw 10w or less for more than an hour they will turn off. I've tried it on mine.

you can if they are low power. the plug socket allows upto 200w so check how power hungry your TV and console is :)
