Yonkers Police Department (NY) Mobile Command Center 7-2-24

This mobile command/community engagement vehicle is built on a Freightliner MT-55 forward control chassis and features an all aluminum body and a Cummins B6.7L diesel engine with 300HP. We added a single in-house fabricated flat floor slide-out to the body to maximize the interior workspace. Our exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation system is installed to simplify the setup of the vehicle on scene. Extreme Duty body storage compartments were also added for gear storage. A non-locking telescoping rear mast feature perimeter surveillance camera equipment. A complete emergency lights and siren package was added along with LED scene lighting. Entry into the vehicle is by curbside entry doors (2). A weatherproof exterior workstation and a lateral arm awning have also been installed.
Inside, the command vehicle has a front conference and collaboration room complete with spider base task seating (3), fixed and flip down bench seats. Magnetic surface dry erase white boards are also included. A 50" wall mounted display monitor is also part of the front room. A magnetic soft close pocket door provides privacy when needed. The center of the vehicle features a lavatory, large electronics rack and a galley with microwave, refrigerator and a Keurig coffee maker. Counter tops are laminate throughout.
The rear work room features four workstations. Commercial grade aluminum cabinets are utilized for storage. Dry erase writing surface is added to overhead cabinets. Undercabinet LED lighting is also included. The HVAC system consists of three ducted low profile rooftop A/C units with thermostat, two power roof ventilators, two direct discharge furnaces and two electric wall mount heaters. A powerful 20kW liquid cooled generator supplies plenty of electric power.
