When I was 5 this album was the only cassette my dad had in his car, he taught us how to head bang to this album, we listened to it all the time, these guys will forever be one of my all time favorites because of that.
I was 10 years old. I walked into Walmart with my mom, saw the cover art and said I want that album. Has no idea what I was getting. Got home and started listening to it and absolutely loved every song. This album will forever be very near and dear to my heart.
I remember for christmas one year, I was given an MP3 player. My dad had already got and loaded some songs onto it for me, and this was one of them. I loved it, I'd listen to it all the time. Like this and Peaches were my favorites as a kid. Not gonna lie, still slaps.
One of the 6 cds my mother had in her deck on constant repeat before she passed of cancer when I was 12. This whole album is a nostalgic memory that gives me such a feel good vibe ❤
I remember being small in the back of my mom's car and listening to this. I loved it, it made me so happy. I tried to sing despite not knowing the lyrics. This makes me think of then. It's special. It's been many years since then, and so much has changed. Sometimes I wish I could be that little kid rocking out in the back of my mom's car. I bought a bass guitar and I am learning how to play it. I want to learn this song and play it for my younger brothers
Hell yeah bro, my mom had this cd also and I too remember hearing this and being taken in by the story, I'm really glad my mom had an excellent taste in music as well and helped shape mine
I remember waiting fervently with my brother for the music video of Peaches to play on MTV each day in the early to mid 90's. An excellent time for music, probably the last great rock music era which tailed off around the launch of Lateralus, a touch of Audio slave, and a sprinkling of Linkin Park. When we got the CD for this album I listened to it on repeat. That little blue dune buggy is ingrained in me.
I’m so grateful that I grew up on this. I remember the M-Tv premiere of Lump. The first time it was aired, I seen it. Same with Basket Case By Greenday and Da Bomb when Snoop was still Snoop Doggy Dog. I skipped school and just happened to see it.
I play this with my son every camping trip we go to, head bangin' to fall creek falls. He learned thw song by heart as a youngster and sung it ever since.
Can't help but notice now any song from the 90s or 00s some loser is in the comment section claiming to play the music to their neighbours or talking about how their dad used to listen to it when....... happened.

I'm not exactly sure why, but I'm pretty certain this is the most brilliant song ever written.
I learned about this band from Futurama and I've never been disappointed
I was a teen in the 90's.... this was not a radiiohit, but I thought it was their best and I would blare it! It's so much fugging fun.

I know, I’m centuries late to the party, but haven’t started listening to POTUSA until just recently, and was instantly hooked!
Im 40 and loved this song as a 10 year old, and now my kid is 8, and he loves it the same!

I'm assuming you're the loser on this one? lmao
lol ikr, all those losers with families who used to listen to music...fuck em, right?
That's because we associate music with memories. You will get old and die too.
Sounds like kendrick lamar
Heh!
At the time, my best friend Douglas Ray Bishop from Seqautchie County TN, he loved this song, I was about 10yrs older, I thought it was o.k.
