Amazing! like many of us, have been ordering from 401 games and even reached loyalty level silver recently. It was very cool for the first time to see their store, might even see them preparing an order of Star Wars Unlimited there for us here in Nova Scotia.
Awesome video! Vader is the deck I’m wanting to make as well. Green seems to be the way to go because Vader needs ramp to get out the high cost of him as leader. With a supply card and viper droid probe you can get Vader out a lot quicker
Interesting. I went to one pre-release, they did best of one and it was a blast. If time was up they just took the one with least damage as winners. Nobody likes the tie = dual loss. I wonder how that came about.
I understand it though, it's so annoying when some sweaty guy slow plays you so he can hit you for 3 hp at the last second to take a win. I like the duel loss.
You played at like every gta pre release except the one I played in hah. I did the Sunday at 401 downtown. I’m hoping the game takes off in Toronto. Not much store interest in events yet sadly. Hope it improves.
To your comments about the logistics around the release/prerelease and such, I'll add that this is unfortunately about what to expect from Asmodee/Fantasy Flight. The way they initially released Star Wars Destiny was, in my opinion, the reason why the game perished (Keyforge, too). It almost seems like they work against themselves to actually sell their own product. I've seen this pattern too much with them to get interested in this game. I'll hold off until there's proof they don't self-destruct after the first couple releases.
@@RobsGamingTable I am a huge fan of both SWD and Keyforge, which is why I'm so passionate about my opinions of how FFG handled each haha. I also love Wars TCG so maybe I also love pain, or at least gravitate toward dead/dying card games.
Very excited to play but your last point is very true usually other games I’ve played let stores sell product after the pre release it was kinda like a reward for the store for running it and the players for coming they get product earlier

I think this is the 10th card game from FFG I have bought into. I think I love pain. 🤣

SW IP has too much baggage and awful legacy especially since Disney. Can’t get into this. Wish they would make their original universe inspired by SW
