I have a question, I love the squirrels and we have a few in our back yard every day. We haven't been feeding them and they still come around. I wan't to start feeding the since it's so cold outside. Is it a good idea to start feeding them more frequently or not?
Wild squirrels are resourceful and intelligent. They won't become dependent on you. They come and go all the time, disappear for weeks because they went somewhere else. They also know the difference between one person and the other. Joey for instance doesn't trust other humans, just us because we have nuts that he likes. And we haven't seen him since 1/6. He's off in some other part of the neighborhood.
