I’m uploading these videos to celebrate reaching 5k subscribers. I apologize in advance for not being consistent, but thanks to the time I’ve taken, I’ve been able to improve my mixing skills with the goal of providing you with quality content. I’m incredibly grateful for all your support, patience, and kindness. From now on, I’ll only provide content that I personally consider to be of good quality, without focusing on consistency, so that you can truly enjoy what you’re listening to. With this mix, I realized that "Saviors" is not so different from "American Idiot" (in terms of mixing). It was a suggestion from Nat, so thanks to them. This was one of the first songs I decided to experiment with to achieve a more "professional" sound and the one that led me to upload these videos. I hope you like it!

What I adore about Billie's voice is that it came around full circle. On 1039/Smooth, his voice was so pure, he sounded clean and young. Throughout his career he ended up getting that rough edge to his voice, and as he got older his voice deepened and matured. But on Saviors he sounds nice and polished again, and it makes him sound so young for his age. But the man always had a perfect voice tbh
So sick. Please, more Saviors mixes. Billie's higher voice is really spot on. 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' or 'Whatsername' might work pretty well.

If you want the mix sound a bit more "glued", try running a compressor based on a SSL console and then a brickwall limiter to mimic that loud as hell sound they had on those albums.

Thank god it's back up, I listen to these more than the actual records. Idk what I'd do if the AI mixes of Saviors were to disappear and the 1039/sosh ones always get me in the feels. It's literally our civic duty to keep these saved somewhere just in case....if someone can figure it out for me lol
