So the types of crashes in this vid seems to be: 1 Rolls 2. Flips and Tumbles 3. Smashes 4. Wall rides 5. Drift fails 6. Head ons, Pole Crashing and Cliff Diving
but what i don't understand .. why they won't make "realistic" difficulty. it would allow you to unlock some bonuses and have real damage and handling, but you don't have to play on it if you're too noob. at least that way, pro gamers would get a nice realistic experience out of the game.
your comment made my day =)because thats exact what i think.. i played RBR with a friend this week... he is a NFS player... and he asks me why i dont put the damage on realistic, i said "if i do that i give you one corner" and first corner understeer because he brakes to hard and hits a tree :) and the radiator was gone.I had a realistic mod for Dirt1 witch gives you only 25% of the traction that the game normaly has. It was not so real as RBR but even good. today its like you say.. sadly

Nice video,I also have done a video with Dirt 3 crashes, and to be honest i did them on purpose too. Otherwise it will take me a long time to do a crash i do not want to do. :)
actually they all tried to crash :)) i like making realistic crash compilations, i have lots of them from various games. for me its easier to drive clean than make a good crash
Niche crashes ... but why the hell is the damage simulation in Dirt 1 better as it is in Dirt 3 ?? i mean... evolution ? not the oppsite way... what are the game developers doing today... 1 hour work and 7 hours burger king... or what...

Fact is that i played Dirt3 on Ps3 with my Logitech G25 Wheel and i took only two corners.. and turn it off.. because the car oversteers and i want to turn the wheel against to stabilize the car but i realized it is only like a sript.. scriptet drift scene ore something... same like in NFS Hot Pursuit 2... i was so happy about the group b cars and than this shitty physics. Is WRC 2 the same easy or is it better? greez

Dustin Lambert not in a game like this. I only use steering wheel in real simulators, such as Live for Speed, GTR ..etc, where it's impossible to drive with controller.
Im watching this while downloading this game because its 60% off ob the xb store. I cant wait to get into it but my xbox is being a bitch and its taking forever to download lol
don't think there ever will be a good rally game, because there are too many whiny little kids who whine and cry that game is TOO HARD ...so devs will lose lot of money if whiny little kids won't play .. sooo they just make arcade games only.
But you know how many people in higher age will be bought that game. In the time now kids mostly games downloading pirates copy's. If check statistics you will be see in whit age people buying games. Why still big companies still make so expensive game controllers (steering wheel's, flight joysticks) etc... for hundred's pounds if nobody care about simulation. Check DCS series very hard simulation but good prices and developers still makes new DLC's and listen community what they want. Look good game or products always found buyers. I'm still in hope. Tomáš Konkoľ I agree with you, but devs don't :( .. at least they could add a HARDCORE mode that is real, but noOOooOO. they make that expensive stuff, so that kids can feel "real" lol .. then few years later when they get a real car, they try to replicate what they did in game .. and crash. .. seen it too much. blame it all on devs! ..however richard burns rally is one of the most realistic rally games, old, but quite good physics. you might want to try it if you haven't. WRC isn't bad either.
Don't need to blame developers cause they developing only thinks what games studios pay for. EA, Ubisoft, etc... RBR its Holy Grail for Rallye. And I'm always plays with my dad when I come to a holyady wisit family. He its 55 and me 30. RBR have tons of mods and skins new tracks still preaty good.
I do blame them, i want to see more realism in games. in general, not just racing/rally. i mean .. sci-fi stuff is cool, but more realism in a matter of like weapons doing more damage, crashing a car at 100mph will be the end of the race, AI being very difficult ..etc anyway GTR1/2, LFS, and rFactor are good racing games btw.
