- Dismantling the Renault Clio I - II/Symbol Rear Right Door Replace Actuator.
In this clip, the left rear door of a Renault Clio Symbol (Clio II) is dismantled for cleaning and replacing the actuator (door lock motor), cleaning the left rear door lock (door closing and opening mechanism), door lock rod repair. In this case, the actuator is good, it starts working normally after cleaning the lock of dust collected inside the manual mechanism, manually and with a WD-40 spray (bit.ly/33eKxE8) the procedure is omitted in the filming. The clip, that correctly positioned the rod on the door, broke. The repair was performed by gluing the clip (the procedure omitted in the filming) and inserting it in a special place on where the rod is fixed.

Thanks. I just fixed my Clio by following this video. I did not change that part at all, I just placed some WD-40 and a bit of oil under that rubber seal, since it was all dry inside and probably stuck because of that. And yes, I forgot to mention that same thing happened to me on the other door, but I just gave car to my friend to fix it that time, and he did the same thing as I did, and it still works to this day.
Did the same with a Dacia MCV Logan yesterday. Both rear door actuators were still moving a little bit but did not get the job done. One startet to function immediately after applying some WD40, the other one would only open but not close fully directly after the treatment. On the next day also the second one regained full functionality.

Hi! Thanks for the video. Unfortunately I'm having a different but related issue - my rear left door is deadlocked, I can't get it to open at all. I tried removing the inner door panel by following your video (worked like a charm) and fiddling with the rods inside, but the inside door latch (the one that you pull up or push down) doesn't do anything and I can't even get the door to open. Would you happen to know a solution to this? Thanks!
The rod which connects the door handle is not in place. You have to reinsert the small rod from the locker back into the handle. Check the video for this operation around minute 17.

salut,grija mare 10:15 de cele mai multe ori la clio actuatorul functioneaza dar nu mai are forta necesara , in interior au motorase cu perii si periile nu mai fac contact cum trebuie , daca sunt prea vechii si observi ca ba nu se mai incuie o usa ba alta nu se descuie ,ba isi revine , am trecut prin asta si am tot curatat actuatoare ,solutia a fost 4 bucati noi si am scapat sa tot demontez fete de usi
La mine, după 15 ani, actuatoarele față spate de pe partea dreapta nu mai funcționau corect. Exact că în descrierea ta. Am achiziționat altele noi cu intenția de a le schimba. După ce am curățat mecanismul de închidere al ușii și actuatoarele vechi, acestea au început să funcționeze și nu a mai fost necesară înlocuirea lor. Am în continuare actuatoarele noi pe care o să le folosesc dacă cedează cele vechi. Atâta timp cât mecanismul de închidere al ușii este plin de praf, chiar daca înlocuiești actuatoarele, nu are cum sa funcționeze corect. După o vreme și acestea noi nu vor mai face față.
@@InfopubRo tu crezi ca inainte sa inlocuiesc actuatoarele nu am curatat ,gresat tot mecanismul de inchidere ? ba chiar am facut asta ,daia iti spun dupa ce il puneam la loc mergea 2 zile iar facea figuri ,dadeam actuatorul jos il probam pe bateria masini functiona ,parea ca impinge si trage tare dar iar lesina , daia am spus , ele cand mor nu iese fum din ele , pur si simplu nu mai au forta mereu sa impinga , este bine ca la tine functioneaza inca
Salutare daca ușa se deschide doar de la maneta din interior cam care ar putea fi problema?Menționez că este ușa de la șofer
Probabil a sărit tija care acționează încuietoarea sau s-a rupt locașul unde este prinsă tija in mânerul de plastic. Dacă ai demontat tu încuietoarea, probabil ai uitat să montezi înapoi tija de la mâner sau nu ai introdus-o corect în locasul de pe încuietoare. Acorda atenție filmării după minutul 17. Montarea tijei se face pe pipăite. Din păcate nu se poate filma procedura de montare din cauza locului foarte îngust.

Daca usa este inchisa si blocata, cum fac sa o deschid ca sa ajung la broasca?
Acum depinde care este motivul pentru care nu se deschide. Este stricată broasca, sau ai apăsat pe clema din metal de pe broasca care blochează ușa pentru copii?
