It's not a pretty aircraft, although some including it's drivers say it has angles, meaning, it's not an all round pretty to look at aircraft and it's beauty is relative to where you are standing. The original A350 profile especially with the nose was much prettier but that was dropped in favour of the A380 based nose to save cost. The nose gear was also moved forward from the original design in order to allow the redesign of the avionics bay. This XWB is rocking the 2nd Generation taller & retwisted sharklet that were initially introduced on the A359ULR but are now standard fit🙏. What it lacks from outer beauty it compensates in numbers regarding weights i.e EMW, EOW, MZFW, MTOW which makes it super efficient regarding SFC compared to aircraft with similar weight performance. The wing trailing edge has limited morph inflight, making it super efficient in cruise while the flap actuators are reduced from 5 to 3, rendering a cleaner wing with reduced drag. Not so obvious advancement in technology lies within the systems with technologies tested and matured on the A380 but now standard on A350, i.e Brake To Vacate (BTV) for optimal breaking &runway performance, a Networked Server System for Avionics and Flight Management System and a 3 Law Flight Management Protocol (Normal, Alternate, Direct) regarding Airbus FBW & Flight envelope protection. It's already equipped with CAT3 EFB, Enhanced Vision System (Currently HUD is available but EVS rollout coming soon). The A350 is also capable of Autonomous Taxi, Takeoff and Landing. About 55% of the airframe is made of Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic. A350 has a higher Wing Area than the A359 due to an extended Wing Chord , therefore improving the Wing Loading while the A351 Engines are rated at a higher Thrust than the A359 to cater for the increase in MTOW although both engines share a common architecture & dimensions. 6 wheel main landing gear bogie on the A351 vs 4 on the A359 and vouile. Finally but not the least, the A350 like most modern Airliner is RNP enabled for advanced precision and accuracy in navigation which translates to more efficient route planning & conflict reduction in cruise and approach, enabling Continuous Descent instead of the traditional step change navigation, which translates to reduced emissions and improved efficiency. ETOPS is certified at 370Minutes base, although some operators have certified for 420 Minutes ETOPS with One Engine Inoperative (OEI) of which 405 minutes is at Maximum Continuous Thrust OEI and 15 Minutes holding time. So it's not gentle to the eye but it's beauty is on performance numbers but the 787 is not pretty either but it's numbers are beautiful 😂.

I recently acquired the technical training manual of the A350 and I'm really impressed with the way Airbus has put this airplane together. It really is a technological marvel and while do agree that at certain angles the A350 and B787 have cosmetic imperfections, their overall beauty is still breathtaking. As for the performance numbers you mentioned, I'd like to know how much of that "beauty" is down to the airframe vs the propulsion systems technology.

The A350-1000 transports more kenyans from anywhere in the world to JKIA,more so from heathrow. Such a beauty hope one day 🇰🇪 is able to receive the A380 before it is out of the market
@Josegimu Due to factors such as cooler temperatures at night which enhance aircraft performance ,also air traffic and airports being less busy hence avoiding delays. Not all cargo flights operate at night though
So what was the point of suggesting to lease Such a nice busy airport with hardworking staff working without sparing even a fraction of a second both day and night to Adani to be honest.......😢😢
