Potats are cute but not in this scenario. They were very annoying to watch as they chase and jump on poor Kiki. I used to have 2 bunnies and one thing I learned was they are sensitive animals. They love their space. Putting them in an environment with puppies can be extremely stressful on them ☹️
Oliver, this isn't funny. It is in no way humorous to show a rabbit or any pet for that matter getting hurt, bit and trampled on for 8 minutes. You need to do some serious research about rabbit care. I know this video is months old at this point but even in your recent livestream you are shown picking Kiki up by the neck (left a comment on that video too, don't worry). Do something about it or, to put it as bluntly as I can, Kiki is going to end up dead because you couldn't be bothered to intervene enough. Stop acting as if this is cute. It is cruel.
For a moment I got worried for Kiki when she was chased and surrounded by the puppies and their parents as well...I think Shiro and Suki's hunting instincts got the better of them When they saw Yori and Mashu chasing Kiki. Thankfully Hooman interfered and Kiki also gave back the aggressive Yori in the same coin...anyways better Kiki be kept away from the potats as Yori is too rough for a gentle bunny...
It is true in every sense. Yori is too aggressive and compels kiki to react in the same way. She wouldn't have been able to sustain Yori's aggressiveness, if hooman didn't interfere in time.

Suki and Shiro weren't trying to bite the bunny, only the puppies. They simply chased b/c the puppies were doing it and there natural prey drive triggered the running. They wouldn't have harmed the bunny (they are older and know better). Puppies really should be trained, so they can live in harmony (like when it was just Suki and Shiro and Kiki). They don't respect Kiki's space, because the bunny is considered lower in pack status and therefore the puppies get too excited in play and dominate it. Not to mention the fact that they don't know how to play gently with her. If this was a kitten, it would immediately teach them by hissing and scratching and jumping to higher ground, and the puppies would learns over time to respect its space. However, a bunny can't get away as easily, they have to run, which only fuels prey drive in dogs. So the owner must teach the puppies the command "leave it" and stop them from biting/smothering by either teaching them how to play gently, or removing the bunny from the room. This situation could have been handled better.
I normally watch Oliver’s videos the moment they are released, and have such a good laugh when I do, but this one really annoyed me. Honestly after watching first interaction of kiki and potats it shouldn't have been continued. They should be separated right away instead of waiting to see more. Kiki is so fragile in front of them and she must have panicked :/ -.- They don't understand language if we say "dont bite her" !! @@s.e.e455 exactly also shiro and suki don't look well trained in following instructions. They do what they please they don't follow leave it drop it or no and potats are wayyyy out of league to be trained hence very risky for rabbit. It's totally owners responsibilty.

Instead of filming when things are getting taken too far why not put the camera down and actually stop the interaction. Just saying "slowly" and "don't bite" doesn't do crap, dogs don't understand english. The bunny was being harassed, dogpiled on and nipped at, bunny's have frail bones and are prone to sudden heart attacks from loud noises and stress. This isn't a good look.

Horrible to watch this. Rabbit bones are much more slender and weaker than dogs’ bones. Kiki could easily be paralysed or even killed by how rough the puppies are with her. Not to mention the obvious distress being caused :(

I"m an experienced bunny owner. As much as they love each other, that was too much for her. She ended up hiding under a tight spot to get away. That tells me she had enough and was getting too scared

They respond to quick movements and have a strong prey drive. They also can snap without provocation. It has nothing to do with a hunting dog loving their "family."

@@aprilgosa5779 It doesn't matter if Suki "raised" KiKi (she didn't really, KiKi was a sub-adult juvenile when they bought her). KiKi is a rabbit, she moves in quick, jerky movements, like a rabbit, like a prey animal. Suki (and all the other Shibas) are dogs, predators, who were specifically bred to hunt small prey animals, like specifically rabbits. It's nothing personal, it's just an instinct, a reflex for the Shiba, to chase things that act like prey.
I don't care how sweet and gentle the doggos are, they're still a subspecies of the wolf and have prey drive. Believing prey drive is bred out of certain pure breeds is wishful thinking. Watching them all chase Kiki until she ran under the sofa , how terrifying for her. Your channel is lovely, but the stuff with the bunny just isn't cute. You and hooman 2 are dog folks, that's great, why not just stay with that and give Kiki away. What is Kiki quality of life, from her perspective? I know you love and care for all your pets. It's a bit if a rant, but this kind of stuff is really off-putting.

If she could talk she would tell you what really goes on behind closed doors with those four dogs and the breeder. If he thinks this is acceptable to film and post for viewers to see this animal abuse you can bet its much worse off camera. It's no wonder the bunny ended up being killed, it's so obvious they would kill her.
Kiki was terrified, she tried to hide three or four times but the dogs were just allowed to follow her. 😔 When she stopped on the dog bed, I could see her heartbeat through her fur. Rabbits have panic-induced heart attacks very easily. I’m amazed this ordeal didn’t cause one. Dogs are not humans, they don’t understand words like “slowly” and “don’t bite her”. If these are words that need to be understood, the dogs need to be trained to understand them as commands (maybe they have since this was filmed). However, with or without training they do understand physical language and therefore Hooman should have physically picked up the potats and moved them away from Bunbun to make the message loud and clear. You never know when that prey drive will kick in. It doesn’t matter how well-trained or good-mannered your doggo is, it is there and you cannot control when it comes out. I speak from experience, involving a very good doggo and a squirrel.

True! And well said! I love this channel for dog content but I don’t agree with keeping rabbit with dogs even for a short period of time especially with those super energetic puppies. The potats have a lot of fun with the "live toy", especially Yori is very enthusiastic about it. But they are too wild for poor Kiki, and in the end they let go her and everyone is peaceful again.
I've commented before out of concern for that poor rabbit. All the sycophants piled on and assured me that Kiki was safe and well cared for. Well folks, here you go, Exhibit A. Side note: FYI, KiKi is alive and well as we saw this week; she's also huge!!! but still adorable : ) Oliver streamed a live video of Suki, Shiro, and KiKi (Raya was with Oliver's brother at the time) on the other channel, "SHIROSUKI". It was pleasant. No one was ganged up on or injured.

I have a rabbit, so I understand why she would nip at the Potats. Rabbits are prey animals, with prey animal instincts. If they are chased, cornered, or tackled by another animal they will bite. I know she loves the Potats and they love her, but they may be too much for her right now. Just family growing pains!😊

Yori was way too aggressive in his play with Kiki. What works with other dogs does not work with bunnies. I cannot blame her for biting back. It was her against all of them. I knew when I saw her moving away from him in the last video that she remembered that kind of interaction with Yori and didn't want any more of it. I am glad that it seemed to teach Yori a lesson about how to approach her. He may be just a puppy but his same age brother had enough sense not to keep chasing Kiki around.

We need to keep a defenseless prey animal away from a hunting dog precisely because the dog can accidentally bite or kill. Regardless of the age of the video or removal of the dogs, don't let puppies terrorize an animal that is known for dying of heart failure from stress. If my german shepherd "accidentally" bites and injures the neighbor's 3-pound teacup poodle, I don't get a free pass because 1) The video is old, 2) he's just a puppy trying to play, and 3) my german shepherd was rehomed.

I"m an experienced bunny owner. As much as they love each other, that was too much for her. She ended up hiding under a tight spot to get away. That tells me she had enough and was getting too scared

They respond to quick movements and have a strong prey drive. They also can snap without provocation. It has nothing to do with a hunting dog loving their "family."

@@aprilgosa5779 It doesn't matter if Suki "raised" KiKi (she didn't really, KiKi was a sub-adult juvenile when they bought her). KiKi is a rabbit, she moves in quick, jerky movements, like a rabbit, like a prey animal.
Suki (and all the other Shibas) are dogs, predators, who were specifically bred to hunt small prey animals, like specifically rabbits.
It's nothing personal, it's just an instinct, a reflex for the Shiba, to chase things that act like prey.

I don't care how sweet and gentle the doggos are, they're still a subspecies of the wolf and have prey drive. Believing prey drive is bred out of certain pure breeds is wishful thinking. Watching them all chase Kiki until she ran under the sofa , how terrifying for her. Your channel is lovely, but the stuff with the bunny just isn't cute. You and hooman 2 are dog folks, that's great, why not just stay with that and give Kiki away. What is Kiki quality of life, from her perspective? I know you love and care for all your pets. It's a bit if a rant, but this kind of stuff is really off-putting.

If he thinks this is acceptable to film and post for viewers to see this animal abuse you can bet its much worse off camera. It's no wonder the bunny ended up being killed, it's so obvious they would kill her.
This is why Kiki was seperated from potats. Good that she gave Yori a taste of his own medicine.
Kiki was terrified, she tried to hide three or four times but the dogs were just allowed to follow her. 😔 When she stopped on the dog bed, I could see her heartbeat through her fur. Rabbits have panic-induced heart attacks very easily. I’m amazed this ordeal didn’t cause one.
Dogs are not humans, they don’t understand words like “slowly” and “don’t bite her”. If these are words that need to be understood, the dogs need to be trained to understand them as commands (maybe they have since this was filmed). However, with or without training they do understand physical language and therefore Hooman should have physically picked up the potats and moved them away from Bunbun to make the message loud and clear.
You never know when that prey drive will kick in. It doesn’t matter how well-trained or good-mannered your doggo is, it is there and you cannot control when it comes out. I speak from experience, involving a very good doggo and a squirrel.

True! And well said! I love this channel for dog content but I don’t agree with keeping rabbit with dogs even for a short period of time especially with those super energetic puppies. It’s just too much for a bunny. Anyone who can read rabbit body language can tell that this rabbit is awfully stressed 😪

I know this vid was filmed a while ago, and who really knows what has happened to Kiki since, but I still stand by my original instincts that this poor rabbit has been terrorized and abused for the amusement of both the dogs AND the owners. Side note: FYI, KiKi is alive and well as we saw this week; she's also huge!!! but still adorable : ) Oliver streamed a live video of Suki, Shiro, and KiKi (Raya was with Oliver's brother at the time) on the other channel, "SHIROSUKI". It was pleasant. No one was ganged up on or injured.

I have a rabbit, so I understand why she would nip at the Potats. Rabbits are prey animals, with prey animal instincts. If they are chased, cornered, or tackled by another animal they will bite. I know she loves the Potats and they love her, but they may be too much for her right now. Just family growing pains!😊

Yori was way too aggressive in his play with Kiki. What works with other dogs does not work with bunnies. I cannot blame her for biting back. It was her against all of them. I knew when I saw her moving away from him in the last video that she remembered that kind of interaction with Yori and didn't want any more of it. I am glad that it seemed to teach Yori a lesson about how to approach her. He may be just a puppy but his same age brother had enough sense not to keep chasing Kiki around.

We need to keep a defenseless prey animal away from a hunting dog precisely because the dog can accidentally bite or kill. Regardless of the age of the video or removal of the dogs, don't let puppies terrorize an animal that is known for dying of heart failure from stress. If my german shepherd "accidentally" bites and injures the neighbor's 3-pound teacup poodle, I don't get a free pass because 1) The video is old, 2) he's just a puppy trying to play, and 3) my german shepherd was rehomed.
