Overlord isn't broken but it's solid and that's all it needs to be, Dress formats extremely barebones and basic since bushiroads too afraid to ruin another format like V.
But the meta is so good rn that its pretty weak and its not better than things that are already out and it doesn’t even get power so gravdia is automatically better among other things like bruce and all the other g4s
@@SHAWNJX yes, and thats a good thing. It would not be healthy for the game at all if the encounter cards were better than the main ridelines of overdress as solemn said. They need to keep them under restriction to prevent overdress from becoming a nostalgia driven power crept mess like v was for most of it’s life.
What people tend to forget is that you can still ride from your hand directly. And while PBO is a pretty good aggressive card, it's not as great as a control card. I think we might see players play a bunch of both, to switch playstyles depending on the match-up and still retain some consistency in persona riding. So either PBD or PBO could still be in the ride deck and in the main deck at the same time. It's also interesting how this new one makes it so that you only need the blaster dark in your ride deck, leaving plenty of space in the main deck for other cards. Nemain also makes quite a difference in premium, where she can make Dragruler have 2 grade 3s in the soul on the g3 turn, giving additional crits to all g1 units. And since she's 5k, you could only run one and 3 V Nemains to retain consistency. That way, you can have it be a somewhat consistent way to make a solid push on the g3 turn, which was a part where Luard was relatively weak up to this point.
What do you thing about the v and d nemain split in premium? I personally think 4 V is prob still the way because of the consistency but 3v 1D might be an option
Pretty good support. Works with how aggressive the deck already is. Will probably steal some early game wins. Imagine using PBO to retire 2 and call BD and then BD retires 1 to get twin drive just for PBO to drive check Amartinoa lol. But realistically sack crits and you will have a strong turn 3 play if you open right.
I glad I have the same thought process as Solemn as for putting PBO in yr Ride and using Nemain's skill to SC the PBD (Probably everyone had the same idea as well) I would like to say, this card makes the deck feel more balanced in a good way than PBD by itself since the deck was just poorly trying to do something. Hoping for it to be nice tho.
i’m more worried about d nemain in premium if anything LMAO builds that are using v luard can now just ride up, go into v driver, driver searches v nemain and charon which calls d nemain, shoves a g3 into soul and bam, you +1 to hand and turn 3 v luard already has access to 2 crit rears. this gives v luard builds a good ride up turn 3 with just 1 cb and just removes all need to g2 game because well, 4 huge swings with crits
So. The way I see it. Bushiroad is directly restricting Nemain to Shadow Paladin/Keter Sanctuary for D series. That way, Bastion, Hexorb, and MLB decks do not take advantage of what Nemain brings to Standard.

I like the new shadow paladins, but we needed these cards in D-bt03.
overdress pbo is literally the "hey can i copy your homework meme"

opening up g1 nemain is too important, imo. You'll stick with 4 v nemain.
2V & 2D for sure
3 v 1 d, d nemain is absolutely stupid in prem luard builds that focus on v heart+driver
Depends on the deck, but for PBO, 2 of each is definitely the way to go

Nemain might be a nice spicy tech in premium for shadow paladin.

What would be really nice would be if Luard had a card that could do that while also not being called Nemain, meaning that you could run 4 V Nemain
Did I miss something, how does PBO multiattack?
retire 2 to call BD from soul/drop when it attacks, BD also gets +10k if your opponents on g3
@@jord627 ah right I completely blanked on the when it attacks part.
Thank u bushiroad making boy (pbo) good before my (birthday)
How does D Nemain even work in D? It says you need a shadow Paladino Vanguard but in D it would be Keter so how does that work??

So far all encounter cards have clan symbol on them on the bottom right of card.
@@corbinlenning3505 Ohh ok I honestly never notice that on the cards thank you
