9 Riders from Soul Machine Riders started the journey, We first visited Chaturmukh Shiv Temple, Chaturmukh Shiv temple is one such hill temple. You have a road leading right up to it and the views are amazing. Surrounded by Hills and greenery this temple looks just amazing and the best part is, it is not crowded even in weekends if you visit early in morning.
Second Shiv Temple we visited is Baneshwar Shiv Temple, “Ban” - Forest and Ishwar - God i.e. God within a forest. This is the origin of the name of the Baneshwar temple. The name looked inviting and looking it up on Google Earth, I saw that the temple was in the midst of a dense green patch. Not the size of a forest, but quite an expansive green patch. So, off we went on a Saturday Early Morning to Baneshwar Temple, around 45 kms away from Pune.
Currently the last patch to Baneshwar Temple is not in a good condition but it can be easily crossed.
And Finally we visit the amazing Necklace Point, Bhor. This place looks mind blowing in Monsoon. It is unbelievably pictures now, The roads to Necklace Point are not in good condition and it is easily approachable.
