Good stuff thanks man! I have a 2015 Honda Civic EX-L with NAV. I purchased my car in 2019 at 30,000 miles [currently 120K] and just NOW finding out how to access these secret menus… I have one error code that I’m trying to figure out what it is, and I believe I can find it from one of these menus! My favorite part about this Honda Trim was learning how to screen mirror my iPhone [lightning digital AV adapter] while driving!
Unrelated, but I see you have CarPlay. I’ve seen people upgrading the software of the headunit, but I was wondering if all the other functions still work fine with the upgrade? (Backup cameras, blind spot cameras, etc.)
The only thing you lose is the GPS clock which you have to unhook from the head unit for CarPlay maps to work but you can just set the clock, check out my other video for that
Did you ever find a solution to keep this permanent? Is there an option or sequence of keys to press to save it when you exit? I wonder why Honda crippled the subwoofer. Seems like overkill to protect paper speakers.
No I have not yet found a way to make it permanent, there is an SD card somewhere in the unit I just didn’t want to take mine apart to find it to see what’s on it, possibly settings though!

Question why every time I change it, it goes back to normal again and it doesn’t stay like that
