Best video I’ve seen showing the water receding before hand.

Relax with the disaster addiction people. This still showed good footage of the surge & drawback beforehand.

The way that the water sucked away from shore as the wave came in!

I am halfway through this video, and I am not going to mince words, I am yelling run, get the hell out of there! what are you doing man? Run, please! it's coming. The boats were all dry! you can see the tidal wave in the back, what is wrong with these people? They're older they should know better. Once it's too close, it's too late! I'm going to finish this video, but I'm asking anybody else that watches this, or you live in Japan, or any other place tsunamis occur,... please go to the top of hill! Please! don't look at the water. just forget everything. Forget the boats or anything else that's your possessions, it's too late! just get the hell out of there! your life is way more important to us and family,...to throw it away by looking at some boat, or watch some wave. This is a nail biter for me. I have been watching this series of videos for 2 or so weeks. I've been attempting to learn about tsunamis and their devastation, it's amazing how many videos there are. It seems that everybody gets complacent, And NEVER heed the warning. Even if it's inconvenient, please GO!!I beg you. It's like us in America, we have tornadoes! people don't heed the warning, they get sucked away. It's not just you that standing there, its your family, and everybody else that cares for you too. Thanks DEWEY😢😣😔

Could not watch this clip. The camera operator spent more time moving the camera around than focusing on the actual tidal wave..

Videos sucked a lot of juice out of batteries in 2011, like a tsunami sucking out the water in a bay.

@@leandroherlan1558 I think that obviously the guy ran off because the power of the incoming wave vas very scary. But for sure that second wave didn't reach the height of the water that you can see between 4:30 and 5:30 (at the peak of the first wave). Practically, it was the ocean refilling the bay after the huge drawback, that in this case came only after the crest of the first wave (only in 50% of the cases you have the backwash first).
