Pourquoi? parce que vous chantez d'une manière si limpide, sans écorchure et si parfaite qu'on dirait un diamant taillé à la bonne taille. Bravo ANTOINE, vous avez réellement une belle voix, maitrisée du début à la fin.

I heard the Dimash version originally and that blew me away, I had it on repeat for an hour. Then I heard the lovely Gregory’s original and that reduced me to tears, so beautiful and raw considering his illness ❤️❤️. Now I’ve found Antoine Wend’s version - absolutely gorgeous and sung with passion and I could hear every French word he sang. Thank you Antoine 🙏👌❤️
The original singer is Daniel Balavoine not Gregory Lemarchal, from the musical comedy "Starmania" (1979)😉
People need to be honest and give credit where it is due. I have heard Dimash's version of this song, also Piet Arion and Antoine Wend, Dimash's is not the supreme. I am not saying this from a place of bias as Dimash's vocals are unreal, but Piet did and exceptional version and his is the version that blows me away the most so far. I want to also listen to the original singer of this song. I said it b4 and I will say it again. Dimash vocals are alien and Piet's are angelic. People tend to just get caught in other people's opinions and forget to form one of their own. All these renditions of this song by theses male singers are heavenly and I enjoy all of them. Gabriel Herinques is another beautiful male vocalist, check him out.

@@latoyawalsh4018 I love Piet and Dimash versions equally to be honest. Both the chorus parts from these two blew me away (you may also want to try Sinful Passion to see his full capability in his native tongue).
Other french singers will be more comfortable singing this song, so I agree that, in terms of emotion delivered to audiences, their versions would have more advantage. This version we're listening to is one of those, beautifully sung by Antoine Wend. Thanks.

Где вы там увидели лёгкость в постобработке? Низа нет, верх слабый, всё прибрано, зауши притянуто! Сплошное позёрство и пафос человека с маленьким голосом! Где у людей уши и вкус..... У первоисточника тоже был средний голос, ну там была душа! Он просто попадал в самое сердце!

On est au plus près de la "voix des anges", en tout cas au-dessus de la version originale de ce monument de la chanson et bien sûr de ses autres versions par la suite et ce même si leurs interprètes étaient très talentueux... J'espère simplement que la FRANCE pourra compter sur une voix pareille pour la représenter au concours de l'Eurovision 2023...
