Levan is nothing if he is same weight like any other Armwrestler.😅😅😅I have no respect to steriod only fake power.😅😅😅😅😅😅.If Levan is same 125kg or even 135kg,he is just a kid in front of other top Armwrestlers, trust me.And he can't stay in this180-190kg weight healthy,he is at the edge of broken. he can't stay in this180-190kg weight healthy,he is at the edge of broken.
What are you guys talking about?! Levan is at his best at around 160kg. "He is nothing against people who are not smaller". Dude I am telling you there ARE armwrestlers which are taller and/or bigger than Levan. Levan has proved himself over and over. In the last 5-6years he has only lost two rounds to Ermes when he gased out. Of course he also has loses, every serious armwrestler has. He has been doing well also without beeing extremly big in his starting years. Of course drugs play a big role in the history of Levan, but guess what he is not the only one....
I am an early arm wrestler under 1 year and following Devon’s advice on heavy singles throughout the day has boosted my strength like I haven’t seen before
I agree with the title but not as much of the reasons mentioned. I think muscle mass is important in the right places for armwrestling, doing benchpress might not be the best even though the best armwrestler does it. The closer the exercise is to armwresting movement, the better it is for armwrestling, its called specificity. What devon is doing is improving neuromusclular output and tendon strength at the start position, 0:33. That training does not give as much muscle mass as your normal hypertrophy workout. Strength = Hyperthrohy + Neuromuscular output. We need both hypertrophy part and the armwrestling specific exercises to improve optimally. What you should do is incorporate the exercises devon is doing closer to your armwrestling matches going to far from failure, if you are training for a armwrestling match months ahead then i think you should do hyperthrophy work to grow the muscle, bigger muscle is always a stronger muscle.
Too late, when I started in saw devon larratts routine and followed and got me much stronger then I was before I start and I've been following devons routine for about 6 months now and helped a lot to gain strength
Training for armwrestling is tricky, because of different everyone is. We're too genetically different, muscle wise and bone structure, arm wrestling style.
genuinely sound advice. However the new pullers will get much more from simply getting table time one or two times a week than they will from any kind of weights. Pull once or twice a week and do recovery work at the gym not strength building. When first starting your CNS and elbow tendons CAN NOT handle table time and lifting. I have seen people try and do it over and over and every single time after a couple months they stop showing up to practice due to elbow pain or a wrist tweak they just can't get rid of. If you want to get strong at arm-wrestling then arm-wrestle. When you get over the beginner pains then add in gym work.
I would agree if the beginner we're talking about is new to training as well as Armwrestling. Many Armwrestlers come from other sports where they've had more time to build general strength, work capacity, and intuition for their training. For those people, they could hop into both gym training and Armwrestling off the bat (albeit, carefully). But if the person has little to no training experience, then I 100% agree they should be just Armwrestling in the beginning
@@iliketocomment8144u are a huge devon fan most of the comments on this video are from u. Devon’s training is not beneficial he had to change up his training a dozen times throughout his years as an arm wrestler. that says a lot and anybody with a brain would know that his advice is not advice for beginners which is why brian shaw will most likely lose his upcoming match against eddie. if he does loses then it’s even more convincing that his advice shouldn’t be given to beginners. it’s sad how delusional fans like u can’t survive when somebody ridicules devon 😂🤣
i also used to follow devon’s lifts. the main 5. i noticed i got strong in an open toproll position, but had weak side pressure. i noticed todd hutchings training benefited me more, along with actual gym workouts
Levan uses a simple routine you say but a complex multi unnatural chemical process off camera.
he's also a lot bigger than his opponents. Devon is way stronger p4p

@@GangdamStyle20 You know you made it up right?160kg Levan is not even top 10.😂You should watch the history.
I used Devon's rising lift and pronation lift, and it helped me out a lot. I'm a toproller so it's really important for my hand to not get bend back.
I disagree, you need Strength 1st then skills only,Strength dont naturally follows you need to work extra hard for it

SOMEONE SEND THIS TO BRIAN SHAW
Ive been saying this for many years ever since i saw how larry was suffering from his training during his armwrestling era
Larry just sucks.
hahaha works for me. Just ask anyone who grips up with me. thanks devon 💪

Bigger muscle isnt always stronger, bigger muscle has the potential to be stronger.
True. Do what works for YOURSELF
Great Video as always🎉

Still, there are exercises that are generally applicable to almost everyone.

levan seems to swear by doing pull ups.
Please make next video about pronation training please please🙏

Push up Just for conditioning, pull up can improve back pressure

levan can do a pullup???
I agree! I started following Devon's lifts, and realized it wasn;t beneficial for me and my style.
Well that was just dumb of you. Nobody’s fault but your own but thanks for sharing. 😆
Yeah it didn’t help me as well
