Nice to see the trolling! I do it all the time from my kayak. Noticed how you got the big one over/near mud. Mud retains heat so I'll be sure to fish over that when I come down from Richmond. Thanks for the vid!!!
Yes, in the colder water the mud bottoms seem to keep the heat and warm up when the sun's out. I know lots of guys troll around in a kayak. Good method to find them and the quiet approach with a kayak allows folks to get on top of fish sometimes better than someone like me with a outboard. Hope you get on some when you make the trip. Good luck and thanks for the comment.
Here in eastern nc we run a cork 1 foot less than the depth of water we’re fishing, 4-6 rods out the back corks about 6 feet apart at different distances run at the pace of a medium to brisk walk 1.5- 2 mph. Creeks when it’s cold, the bays and sound when it’s warm. We try and stay in about 4-6 feet of water usually about 20 yards off the bank. Best luck on grubs, white, electric chicken, and a dark blue or purple seem to produce a lot of fish.
Thanks for the comment. We do the popping corks up here as well. On this river the paddletails are definitely a "go-to" technique. It's great learning different techniques from all corners of the world. Good luck and tight lines. Hope you wear em out your next trip out.
@@letsrolloutdoors no popping cork for trolling, we do tear em up on a gulp shrimp or bad shad trout trick under a popping cork though. Clark Spoons do some good work too. Prolly gonna try some paddle tails this weekend and see how it fairs to the grubs. We got in em pretty good last Saturday.
If you're not doing catch clean and cook's then the video not complete don't get y'all catch them know you're eating them everybody catches them but only the true fisherman show us viewers how you clean them and cook them up
We have a few catch clean cook videos. We'll work on a few more. Definitely like eating what we catch on the water and harvest in the woods. Good luck your way.
Good day out with the family and good catches! Fish on!!
Definitely a good day. Thanks for the comment!

ahh the slam shady what a classic
Yep, that lure seems to get the job done with regularity
Great video of " How to"...buck
Great video thanks
Thanks for watching. Good luck out there.
Let's go imma be trying this method in Alabama
Never really tried it until Virginia. Lots of guys just paddle around on kayaks trolling lures while they cast. Seems to work for trout and drum.

Been trolling for them on the grass flats and in the Elizabeth at high tide for several years.
Sounds good. I'll keep learning that river. Lots of opportunity there.
