I did some investigating and found that what my grandma was doing was cro-tatting, and most cro-tatters hold their work like I do. Then I came across your site and I see you hold your work the way I do. Where did you learn to crochet?

I think you're skipping one row. When you've finished row 6, make sure to start again from row 1, not from row 2. 😊
