You forgot the 1978 Z1R first cafe racer style production motorcycle
Thanks
cool video keep up the great content
How is the Honda CB750 4 and the Kawasaki Z1 900 not on this list. They both are valued $12-23+k. at the upper end of all motorcycles of the era. My 75’ Z1b is valued at $12-15k.
Both bikes are very important.
A very clean '73 Z1 903 auctioned off at $50.000.
I had a '72 H1-B Orange. Tell me a bit about your bike Chris!
@@davidmacphee3549 You won’t believe the story. A co-worker is a car trader and ran across it. He asked if I was interested in it. I asked what model/size it was he said a 900. My ears perked up. We quick finished lunch and drive straight to the sellers house. I asked the lady seller what she was asking. She replied, oh maybe $35. I told her it was worth more and gave her $50 everything I had on me at the time. Sadly though it was leaning up against a fence and not rusty but paint and seat were toast. Cleaned up the carbs, new tires, sprockets and chain and got it running. A buddy recovered the seat for $75. I painted the bike 75’ Kawasaki blue and put it on the road. I’ve owned it now about 30 years. I’m on a restorers list and going all in on the restoration. Lucky find for sure.
Right
The Z1 903
I had a 76 KZ 900
Wish I still had it . Was stolen. Loved that bike. I put a 4 in 1 Kerker header and pulled the baffle.
Loved that sound, !
Number 7 sure is different!!!!
had a 75 orange RD 350 put on chambers low bars rear set pegs and was a blast to ride around the Bay Area in the 70,s also had a H1 a 71 and 72 750 hondas a new 73 honda 450 CL
GOTTA LOVE THE YAMAHA! BEAUTIFUL BIKE
Do a video on Honda mini bikes
Would make a great collection in my garage. Video is full of mistakes but Cassie was worth it.
Thanks for the memories, I really enjoyed the video!!!!!
I'm so glad!
@@MindsEyeMedia like the ending!
pluss for mention moto morini, but why not mention the very best early 70s (smoked the z1) laverda jota
Those were the days my friend.
Today's bike designers are certainly a new generation of ideas based on TV fantasy.
But being a born & bred realist, I'm afraid fantasy does very little for me personally.
Badly researched and poorly put together with pictures/video clips which often have little or nothing to do with the bike actually being talked about; eg showing a UK RD350LC liquird cooled (I believe in Murca called the RZ350 and not manufactured until mid 1980) when talking about the original aircooled RD350; eg constantly saying 'XS350' when talking about and showing the XS650; eg mixing up references to the GS750 (8 valve) and GSX750 (16 valve) - very different bikes, and the GSX was not manufactured until 1980! There were many many more gaffes, inconsistencies and inaccuracies - and as for some of the photos of hacked about bikes... well, you shouldn't have bothered.
Sorry chaps, but it's a generous 4/10 from me......
Think you need to do a bit more research
XS350?, it is XS650 and why show crappy Cafe Racer types?
The Kawasaki KR250 was not produced from 1975-1982? If you are going to make a factual video, get your facts right first.
Worst video I have ever seen on bikes from my favourite era. Inaccurate information and many of the pictures were unrepresentative of the bike being discussed.
