- More than 170 dancers were at the 2010 Native Encampment during the Omak Stampede. The dancers performed a variety of traditional North American Native Dances in amazing regalia . Sage Hills singing the Grand Entry Song.
The Native Americans have a culture and history that does not get enough recognition in North America, I think partly due to the fact that acknowledging the Native Americans would open up a debate on injustice that has been perpetrated to the original inhabitants of the land.
am a African native American struggle to defend there land the United belong to the Indians not the European decent you people l9st your land but you guys will naver forget your culture you guys was warrior's just like the African tribes the original black people r africans but i respect the native American culture long live the native American warriors who die for there land
Huh?? What did you say!?
Thank you for sharing your wonderful regalia and dancing.no one can take your culture from you because it all resides within you.you know the languages of nature. No, I am not native but lived for twenty five years on 120 acres in Arizona which I inherited and I saw things that I would never have seen in an urban area.much respect and may God protect us all.
I love all of the bright, vibrant colors they use for their clothing. It's really pretty.
I like the sound of the drums, The color of the dresses, everything. God Bless America. Jerry Mora, San Jose, Costa Rica
Amazing Music,.........much better than the crap we listen on the radio nowadays. I'm sitting here on my ass listening to this music, and I can feel it vibrate through my whole body. Truly amazing.
That's why it is important for all Americans to come together and help bring there Native language back to them. While us non-Native American people(assuming your not Native American) can't wright all the wrongs brought upon the Native Americans I believe we can make a difference and help restore the Native peoples language be it through educational programs or a public push for Americans to learn the languages and culture it is on us Americans to help restore such beautiful cultures.
I love AMERICA this way. Thanks. My respect to REAL Americans. Now I know America.
What country are you from?
I like this, the colors are just amazing!! I am full blooded Native American, half Pawnee and Choctaw, born in Pawnee, OK. I live in IL now, but I still love the pow wow music and always get a little teary eyed when listening and watching these videos.
amazing people of the earth i love all naitive americans
So impressive and invigorating- I love the colorful adornments, the drumming and singing with the different styles of dance. The colorful array is just beautiful. I'm an Indian native to central America, but I feel the vibration of, and the spiritual connection to the native American Indians and their culture. I wish the atrocities perpetrated against them by the white men had never occurred so could have properly blessed today's society with their contributions as intelligent human beings entitled to their inalienable rights just as every other people has demanded for themselves.
The Native Culture is on the rise. Its not dying out. We are shinning and growing back to full potential. The Creator is blessing us and even our language is coming back. This beautiful Pow wow proves it. And these dancers dance with their hearts. Even the little ones. Blessings to them all and to our people. Ashoge!
Respect. To the American Indians.
une profonde élévation, un profond chagrin et une grande admiration, pour les Natives Amérindiens Esther & Etienne Kervyn Miller

Beautiful regalia.... beautiful people
The danxing and the singinh is reslly uplifting. Iloved on omak wa for 20yesrs so isaw thos alot. The vodep is well appreciated.
I was lucky enough to have the honor of being invited to a private tribal powwow. It wasnt all commercialized like this, not open to the public, only guests of tribal members were allowed - real drummers and singers, too - not a recording. It was genuinely a spiritual event and gorgeous. Sweat flying everywhere. It was intense.
Its such a beautiful culture. Even i feel proud as i watch them. But not as proud as i feel when i embrace my own culture.
The indigenous people have suffered a lot over the European influences but we still live with our dignity, culture, and traditions! Most of the native in southwest of the Americas have lost culture like this but it still lives on in the people who live and breath it. I am Native American and African with Spanish/French ancestry
I stumbled across a powwow being held at the Forks in Winnipeg where I live and was absolutely entranced by the singing and drumming. Then getting to see the dancing.. its really one of the most beautiful traditions I've ever seen. Just gives me chills.. thanks for sharing! :)
not tradition...entertainment. what other race does the 1845 costumes and chant unintelligibles?? none but these imposters
N Kel are you implying that Europeans/dissidents of Europe don’t publicly “entertain”/dress up and sing traditional songs? Every race embraces there roots and publicly express them.
Great video. Colorful. Lovely people. Wonderful music.
Just so "AMAZING"
this is so beautiful.
it doesn't matter what color or race you are, you can appreciate the culture of the land that you're living in :)

Thank you for posting. This is truly wonderful and beautiful.
I like how people of all ages are part of the dancing. So older people are respected by the Native Americans. And they also are more advanced socially than all of the white Americans combined.
OMG so powerful!!!
Amazing!
That is so much had work putting those customs together! My respect and God bless our people and indian cultures.

Beautiful to see and witness the real owners of this land
Great Spirit said "Please part my English Hair!" Love the music...
Please understand that they keep evolving as a culture and that is OK. Please let them be the way they want to be. Why everything has to be like the past if they enjoy and evolve into an indian culture more colorful? They truly deserve to be happy. Happiness has been taken away from them so many times! Stop judging them please. Love seen them happy.
I agree. I also think it would be ok to change the dance itself . I would like to see Indian garments and drums with Japanese traditional dance eg the Bon Odori.
The time has come to blend cultures.
I love the Native American Dances, thank you all for your great job for promoting and preserving your beautiful culture heritage. Because your costumes, your language and your culture heritage are the only thing that proudly and truly represent your pure identity........
Omak Pow-Wow in 1997 🌺💓
Respect to Nez Perces & surrounding tribes. 🌺💓

unfortunately, I have not been to a pow wow in several years partly because people do not understand or cherish the Native American Indians and Tribes. I seeing this brought up the time my papi would speak to me, I wish I could find where I can find and attend pow wows in So Cal.

One of my PPLS!!!!
I absolutely love it , those ceremonial clothes are awesome. Your all beautiful
Oh man!!! The younger ones were AAALL the way turned up. Awesome video!!! I know where my rhythm came from: my African and Native American roots. Ironically, my last name is Pounds. I'm very proud of my heritage.
April Pounds you're not a fucking Indian
Beautiful dance of Native Americans. Thanks for valuable information about them.
Rocky, It is so incredibly beautiful. I am blessed to have seen it. That being said, if it should not be posted, the poster should take it down.
If you get a chance, go to a Pow Wow. Ask if you can join the Round Dance. Lots of fun with some fantastic people. If you have young children this is great and educational.
I know this is an old post from 2010, JCVdude, and the video is good, however in your upload box you say 'amazing costumes'...this is not an appropriate description of the people's outfits - regalia is more appropriate. A costume is what you wear when you dress up for Halloween, or for acting in a play or theater, these are not 'costumes' they are made with love and care to represent the lives and culture of our people...please don't be offended, FYI
Susan Best thank you, correction made, my apology
+Susan Best bro , they got numbers and sponsored by pepsi , how sacred?
+ATF2099 still here dancing, still singing, still growing strong in a society that tried to annihilate 'us'....
+Susan Best All so we can be face-down on our phones!
@ATF2099, That was the first thing I thought wtf does pepsi got to do with my people!!!! what a shame!!!
Beautiful Culture. Kiowa Tribe LOVE YOU ALL. SHANE GOD BLESS BROTHER.
Honestly, Native American culture is not dying out, nor is the language dying out. Some of you don't know what you are talking about, yes some tradition was lost but I am speaking my culture but i am also learning from oral history. Get your facts straight
爪モ'モ卄'れ口'れ卄モ'れ卄モ bs. I went to asian markets yesterday and compared your food prices against Aboriginal communities and your prices for food are like three times cheaper than native communities in Alaska and Canada.
I HOPE SO MUCH THAT OUR FOLKS ONE DAY WILL HAVE A SMALL PAW WOW.""Little Feather''=andre.rene.tuyala@gmail.com.HUGH!
爪モ'モ卄'れ口'れ卄モ'れ卄モ i like the native women i think they're beautiful i dont like latinas they're crazy

This was beautiful.
I have never been to a Pow wow or anything like that before, despite my Native American roots.
Thanks for posting this awesome Video.
Absolutely beautiful.....much respect.
@WhiteStarWoman By being what we want it to be. We can not control the duplicity of others but we can walk the Red Road and be an example of what the best can be. That is why it is so important for us to honor our veteran warriors.

Go! It's so much fun! :D I went last year (I'm from Lytton band) and a few of our dancers were there. It's probably one of the best pow-wows i've ever been to! :D
