How can I get the help I need when doctors here are completely dismissive of symptoms - I have been to ER twice in past 6 weeks, almost went last weekend too....I have Sjogren's Disease - doctors/pulmonologists/rheumatologists/internal medicine here refuses to accept the clinical pulmonological guidelines issued by the Sjogren's Foundation making statements like all the NIH studies are wrong and they (the local doctors are right) etc... I have medicaid - I am stuck within state lines for coverage - stuck at rheumatologist I am seeing in same office as pulmonologist. I had PFTs today that came back as normal even though they about killed me. I have extreme shortness of breath a lot of the time. I am trying to get a Hi Res CT Scan - they say that is not ever necessary to identify ILD so they refuse to order one. Do I have any legal options?
